Lewis B. Campbell

Lewis B. Campbell

Lewis B. Campbell is chairman and chief executive officer of Textron Inc. He also leads the company's Management Committee, International Advisory Council and Transformation Leadership Team. Campbell has played a key role in developing Textron's strategic and operational focus, reshaping its portfolio of businesses, and leading the company to realize enterprise-wide synergies to achieve greater operating efficiencies.

Campbell was named CEO in July 1998 and appointed chairman in February 1999. He served as president and chief operating officer from January 1994 to July 1998, and reassumed the post of president from September 2001 to January 2009. He joined Textron in September 1992 as executive vice president and chief operating officer after a 24-year career at General Motors (GM). While at GM he held a number of key management positions, including general manufacturing manager of GM's Rochester Products Division; manufacturing manager, Chevrolet-Pontiac, GM Canada Group; and executive director, GM/UAW Quality Network. In 1988, he was named a vice president of GM as the general manager of the Flint Automotive Group. In 1991, he served as general manager of GMC's Truck Division.

Campbell earned a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University and attended the Advanced General Management Program sponsored by GM at the Harvard International School in Vevey, Switzerland.  He received his certification as a Textron Six Sigma Green Belt in March 2006.

Campbell is a director of Bristol-Myers Squibb. He is also a member of the Business Council and the Business Roundtable.

 
Robert J. Ayotte

Robert J. Ayotte

Robert J. Ayotte was appointed vice president audit services of Textron in June 2009. He is responsible for global audit services activities at Textron and serves as an officer of the corporation. Ayotte is also a member of Textron’s Finance Council.

Previously, Ayotte’s 30-year career with Textron has spanned several business unit and corporate leadership positions, both within and outside the United States. Most recently, he served as assistant corporate controller for the corporation, a post he held since 2002.  In that capacity, he was instrumental in implementing a variety of enterprise-wide initiatives across Textron, including the development and execution of the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley controls program, its Finance Shared Services Center and integrated audit planning and United States Government compliance monitoring.

Ayotte received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Boston College and his MBA with a concentration in finance from Babson College. He is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Ayotte is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
Kenneth C. Bohlen

Ken C. Bohlen

Ken C. Bohlen is executive vice president and chief innovation officer for Textron Inc. Bohlen oversees Engineering, the Global Technology Center in India, Information Systems, Integrated Supply Chain, Lean, Transformation and Textron Six Sigma.  He serves on Textron’s Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Before assuming his current position in April 2000, Bohlen was senior vice president and chief information officer, a position he held since joining Textron in 1999.

Prior to joining Textron, Bohlen spent four years with AlliedSignal Inc., where he served as vice president and chief information officer of the company's Aerospace Group. He also held several other senior positions, including vice president of supply chain and chief information officer for AlliedSignal Engines; vice president of Six Sigma; and director of supply chain and business process improvement for AlliedSignal Inc.

Before joining AlliedSignal, Bohlen spent 20 years with Deere & Company. While at Deere, he held numerous information and manufacturing technology-related positions, culminating in his final position as head of information services for the John Deere Waterloo operations.

Bohlen received his BS in computer science from Iowa State University and his MBA from the University of Iowa. He is a member on the IBM Advisory Board, a member of the American Production Inventory Control Society, a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers' Computer and Automated Systems Association and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Bohlen is Textron Green Belt certified.

 
Frederick K. Butler

Frederick K. Butler

Frederick K. Butler was named vice president business ethics and corporate secretary of Textron in January 1999. He is responsible for all corporate secretary duties and oversees corporate compliance activities.

Butler joined Textron in 1980 as a staff attorney for the corporate office and in 1984, he was named group counsel and assistant secretary. In 1985, he was appointed vice president law of Textron Investment Management Company and became senior vice president law of Textron Investment Management Company in 1991. In 1992, he joined the Paul Revere Insurance Company, at that time a Textron subsidiary, as vice president and general counsel of Paul Revere Investment Management Corporation. He rejoined Textron Inc. in 1994 as assistant general counsel, was named group general counsel financial services in 1995, and vice president and secretary in 1997 before assuming his current position in 1999.

Prior to joining Textron, Butler was an associate at the New York law firm of Dewey, Ballantine, Bushby, Palmer and Wood.

Butler received his B.A. from Harvard University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development and Advanced Management Program.

 
John D. Butler

John D. Butler

John D. Butler is executive vice president administration and chief human resources officer of Textron Inc. He oversees Textron's worldwide human resources function as well as administrative services, corporate real estate, community affairs, and the company's aviation department. Butler serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Prior to joining Textron in July 1997, Butler was vice president of human resources for General Motors (GM) International Operations based in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was responsible for the strategic planning and direction of all GM human resource activities outside North America. He was also a member of the Adam Opel A.G. Supervisory Board. Butler joined GM in 1969, and during his 28-year career with the company, he assumed assignments of increasing responsibility in the areas of manufacturing operations, labor relations, employee benefits and human resource management in the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Butler received a BS degree as well as a Master's degree from Michigan State University, and was an instructor at the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Advanced General Management Program at Harvard University, a Trustee and Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), and a Director of the Human Resources Policy Association (HRPA). 

Butler is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
Gary Cantrell

Gary Cantrell

Gary Cantrell is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Textron Corporation including Textron Information Services (TIS). Gary’s responsibilities include directing the day-to-day activities of TIS including managing TIS executive staff members and business unit Chief Information Officers (CIO’s). Gary oversees Textron’s Information Management Council and manages Textron’s information technology outsourcing relationships. Gary also serves as the Executive Sponsor for the Procurement Council. Gary has more than 20 years of leadership experience managing advanced technology product development, supply chain management, sales & marketing, finance and information technology.

Prior to joining Textron, Cantrell held management positions with Bank of America as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Access and Technology Services, and Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management for Technology and Operations. In these positions, Gary oversaw the distributed computing activities for all banking centers, call centers and network operations including end user support. Gary’s supply chain scope included $1.5B of annual technology related spend and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Before joining Bank of America in 2001, he spent 15 years at Honeywell International where he held a variety of information systems, program management, finance and engineering positions. Gary also spent 5 years at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base supporting early research and advanced development initiatives.

Gary earned a B.S. degree in Management and Finance from the University of Dayton and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. He is a certified Green Belt and has completed numerous leadership forums with previous organizations. Gary is a licensed private pilot, and master scuba diver.

 
Frank T. Connor

Frank T. Connor

Frank Connor was named Textron’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in August 2009.  Connor oversees Textron’s Finance, Controllers, Audit Services, Tax, Treasury and Mergers and Acquisitions functions.  In addition to chairing the company’s Finance Committee, he serves on Textron’s Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee, comprising the top seven executives of the corporation.

Connor is a 22-year veteran of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where, most recently, he was managing director and head of Telecom Investment Banking. Prior to that, he served as Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s chief operating officer of Telecom, Technology and Media Investment Banking. During his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Connor advised companies across a wide range of industries and executed numerous public and private financings and strategic transactions.

Connor earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. 

 
John R. Curran

John R. Curran

John R. Curran was appointed vice president of mergers and acquisitions for Textron in October 2000. Curran is responsible for overseeing and managing business development activities, including mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships for Textron. In addition, he serves on Textron's enterprise-wide Finance Council.

Curran joined Textron in 1983 as a tax analyst. In the tax department, he held several positions including group tax director, director of tax planning and senior tax counsel. In 1994, he was named director of business planning, and in October 1995, Curran joined Industrial Products as director of business development. He was appointed vice president business development for Textron's Industrial Products segment in October 1998. Prior to joining Textron, Curran was with the auditing firm of Touche Ross & Co.

Curran received his B.A. in economics and government from Cornell University. He earned his J.D. from Boston College, and his L.L.M. in taxation from Boston University. Curran completed the Leadership at the Peak program at the Center for Creative Leadership and is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development and the Advanced Management programs.

Curran is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
Scott C. Donnelly

Scott C. Donnelly

Scott C. Donnelly is President and Chief Operating Officer of Textron Inc. Donnelly oversees Textron’s business units as well as the corporation’s Information Technology, Six Sigma, Engineering and Global Sourcing functions. In addition to chairing the company’s Operating Committee, he serves on Textron’s Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Donnelly joined Textron in July 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to his current position in January 2009. Donnelly was previously president and CEO for General Electric (GE) Aviation, the world’s leading producer of large and small jet engines for commercial and military aircraft and a major provider of flight management, actuation and power management systems. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president and director of GE Global Research, the world’s largest and most diversified industrial research organization.

Donnelly joined GE in 1989 as manager of Electronics Design Engineering for GE’s Ocean Systems Division in Syracuse, NY. He went on to serve in a variety of leadership roles for the company, including engineering management positions with then-GE division of Martin Marietta in both Australia and the United States. In 1995, he moved to GE’s Industrial Control Systems business, where he held various management positions. Donnelly was named a vice president of GE in 1997, responsible for Global Technology Operations at GE Healthcare.

Donnelly received a BS degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He serves on the Engineering Advisory Committees at the University of Colorado and Cornell University, where he is an Honorary Emeritus member. He also serves as vice chairman for the Aerospace Industries Association, and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Siena College.

 
Peter C. Durette

Peter C. Durette

Peter C. Durette is vice president strategy and business development for Textron Inc. In this role, Durette works closely with senior leadership across the enterprise in creating and implementing business unit and corporate strategies that drive growth, profitability, and shareholder value creation. In addition to leading Textron’s cross-enterprise Strategy Council, Durette also is a corporate officer and a member of Textron’s Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Prior to joining Textron in September 2008, Durette served as partner at Trinsum, an international strategic and financial advisory firm. During his 14-year career at Trinsum, Durette’s client work spanned a number of industries – most notably diversified industrials, private equity, aerospace & defense, consumer products, healthcare and financial services – with particular expertise in corporate and business unit strategy, management process, acquisitive growth, and performance turnarounds. In addition to his client work at Trinsum, he also was the global talent partner, through which he was responsible for leading the global recruiting, development, and retention of our talent.

Durette holds a BA with honors in economics from Duke University and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business where he graduated in the top five percent of his class as a Palmer Scholar.

 
Arnold M. Friedman

Arnold M. Friedman

Arnold M. Friedman was appointed vice president and deputy general counsel of Textron in July 1984. He is responsible for managing the Corporate legal staff with primary responsibility for overseeing all legal matters other than litigation, including mergers and acquisitions, SEC, Corporate finance, antitrust, compliance, international, intellectual property, government contracts and real estate. Friedman is a member of the enterprise-wide Legal and Engineering & Technology Councils and leads the enterprise-wide Legal Council Working Group.

Friedman joined Textron in 1975 as a staff attorney. In 1977, he became assistant general counsel, and in 1983, he was named deputy general counsel. Prior to joining Textron, Friedman was with the Boston firm of Widett & Widett.

Friedman received his A.B. from Cornell University. He did post graduate work at Harvard University. Friedman received his L.L.B. from Harvard Law School. He is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development Program.

Friedman is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
John L. Garrison

John L. Garrison

John Garrison was named Bell Helicopter’s President and Chief Executive Officer in August 2009.

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Company, is the world’s premier provider of helicopters and the pioneer of tilt-rotor aircraft. With international headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, Bell has more than 10,000 employees worldwide. Additional key brands of the Bell family are Edwards and Associates, McTurbine and U.S. Helicopter.

Garrison has been with Textron since 2002, and most recently served as president of Textron's Industrial segment, which comprises four businesses that manufacture and market branded industrial products worldwide: E-Z-GO, Jacobsen, Greenlee and Kautex. Garrison is a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprising the top 18 executives of the corporation. 

Prior to Garrison’s promotion to the Industrial segment head position in November 2007, he served as president of Textron’s E-Z-GO business, the world's leading manufacturer of vehicles for golf courses, resort communities, recreational applications and municipalities, as well as commercial and industrial venues.

Garrison joined Textron in February 2002 from Azurix Corporation, where he was chairman, president and CEO. Azurix is a global water company engaged in the design, construction and operation of water and wastewater systems and facilities. Before joining Azurix in May 1999, Garrison was vice president and general manager of Case Corporation's North American Agricultural Group and vice president and general manager for Case's Agricultural Systems Group.

Garrison served 10 years on active duty in the US Army as an Airborne Ranger, commanding an 8 inch Artillery Battery in the Republic of Korea, and taught in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy. 

Garrison earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University. He also has completed Textron's Global Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Garrison serves on the boards of the Club Managers Club Foundation and Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI.

 
J. Scott Hall

J. Scott Hall

Scott Hall is president of Greenlee Textron Inc., a leader in wire and cable installation systems, and the premier source for professional-grade tools and test instruments to the electrical contractor and voice/data/video markets, as well as the telecommunication and CATV industry. In addition to leading Greenlee, Hall also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Hall received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada and his MBA from the University of Western Ontario, Ivey School of Business.

He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rothenberger LLC, a joint venture between Greenlee Textron and Rothenberger AG that is focused on the professional plumbing tool market.  In addition to his business commitments, Scott also serves on the Board of the Rockford ProAm.  He is the 2008 Community Campaign Chairperson of United Way of Rock River Valley and is a member of their Board of Directors.

 
Kevin Holleran

Kevin P. Holleran

Kevin Holleran is president of E-Z-GO, the world's leading manufacturer of vehicles for golf courses, resort communities, recreational applications and municipalities, as well as commercial and industrial venues. In addition to leading E-Z-GO, Holleran also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Holleran joined Textron in 2003 as vice president of sales and marketing at E-Z-GO.  In this critical role, Holleran was responsible for global sales, marketing and product services, and contributed to the organic growth of the company through a variety of initiatives. 

Previously, Holleran served as vice president of sales and marketing at Terex Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer that produces a broad range of equipment for use in various industries.  He also held senior sales and marketing roles with Ingersoll Rand.

Holleran received his BS from Cornell University, as well as an MBA from Wake Forest University. He also has completed Textron's Global Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and is Green Belt certified.

 
Mary L. Howell

Mary L. Howell

Mary L. Howell is executive vice president for Textron Inc., a position she has held since August 1995. Howell oversees Textron's government, strategy development and international, investor relations and corporate communications functions. She serves on Textron's International Advisory Council, Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Howell joined Textron in 1980. In her current role, Howell is actively involved in formulating long-term global business strategies, developing business opportunities for Textron business units in growth markets overseas and establishing marketing and communications initiatives. She chairs the Textron Marketing & Sales Council, an organization of senior executives from Textron Corporate and business segment operations who develop and implement initiatives to improve the Textron enterprise's ability to focus on and meet the objectives of its government and commercial customers. She also directs the Washington, DC-based marketing and government affairs activities for Textron and its business units. In 2008, approximately 24% of our consolidated revenues were generated by or resulted from contracts with the U.S. Government. In addition, she oversees internal and external communication of Textron's strategy and performance to key constituencies such as investors, employees and the media.

Howell serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers, a leading organization representing the American manufacturing sector. She also serves on the board of directors of FM Global, the world's largest commercial and industrial property insurance and risk management organization. In addition, Howell is a board member of the Atlantic Council of the United States, a non-partisan network of leaders committed to enhancing U.S. leadership through foreign policy projects. She was president of the Business-Government Relations Council and is a member of several other Washington-area professional organizations. Howell is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Howell is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
D. Lynn Kelley

D. Lynn Kelley, Ph.D.

Lynn Kelley is Vice President, Textron Six Sigma, a position she was appointed to in May 2007. Kelley drives the ongoing deployment of Textron Six Sigma and the continuous improvement of its DMAIC, DFSS and Lean capabilities across all Textron business units, including Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, E-Z-GO, Jacobsen and others. She is a member of the Textron Transformation Leadership Team, a Corporate Officer and a Textron Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Kelley began her Textron career at Textron Fastening Systems in 1999, where she held various positions, including Vice President, Continuous Improvement and Acting Vice President of Strategic Planning. She spent time at Textron Fluid & Power and had various international assignments. As Performance Solutions Manager for Textron University, Kelley led the development and deployment of new courses for Textron Six Sigma, Lean and Integrated Supply Chain, in support of Textron’s heightened focus on talent development.

Prior to joining Textron, she was Professor, Department Chair, and Director of the Master’s Degree in Quality and Operations Management at Madonna University, School of Business, in Livonia, Michigan. She also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Doctors Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Kelley holds a PhD from Wayne State University, an MBA from Michigan State University Executive MBA Program, and a BBA, Business Management from University of Detroit-Mercy. She has published books in the fields of statistics and operational excellence, and served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, a judge for the Michigan Quality Leadership Award, and an executive committee member for both the Michigan Quality Council and Caucus for Women in Statistics.

 
Mary F. Lovejoy

Mary F. Lovejoy

Mary F. Lovejoy was appointed vice president and treasurer of Textron in April 2000. She is responsible for overseeing the company's financing activities, global treasury operations, the investment of pension fund assets and Textron's insurance programs. In addition, she serves on Textron's enterprise-wide Finance Council.

During her career with Textron, Lovejoy has held key positions in the field of investor relations and communications. She joined Textron in 1993 as director of investor relations. In 1995, she was promoted to vice president, investor relations and in 1996, she assumed responsibility for all corporate communications activities.

Prior to joining Textron, Lovejoy was vice president and senior corporate banker at the First National Bank of Chicago. During her 16 years at First Chicago, she held a variety of positions at the bank's Chicago, Boston and London offices.

Lovejoy received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. She is currently a member of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation's Rhode Island Advisory Board, a board member of the International Institute Rhode Island, and a board member for the Festival Ballet. Lovejoy is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development and the Advanced Management programs.

 
Warren R. Lyons

Warren R. Lyons

Warren R. Lyons is president and chief executive officer of Textron Financial Corporation (TFC). Textron Financial is a diversified commercial finance company that provides financing programs for products manufactured by its parent company; Textron Inc. Current specialties include Aviation Finance and Golf Equipment Finance. The company also manages a portfolio of receivables which it previously originated in various businesses, including Asset-Based Lending, Distribution Finance, Golf Mortgage Finance, Resort Finance and Structured Capital. In addition to leading TFC, Lyons also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Lyons managed various segments of Textron’s financial services units from 1985 - 1999, and was a member of the Textron Operating Committee from 1995-1998. He also served as the chairman and president of AVCO Financial Services, a major subsidiary of Textron which produced approximately 25% of Textron’s revenues and profits at the time. Lyons led an active career as an independent financial services consultant before he re-joined Textron as president and chief executive officer of TFC in 2009.

Lyons received his undergraduate degree in Economics, an MBA concentrating in finance, and a law degree specializing in corporate and securities law from Stanford University.  

 
Terrence O' Donnell

Terrence O' Donnell

Terrence O'Donnell is executive vice president and general counsel of Textron Inc. O'Donnell oversees Textron's legal, ethics and compliance, and environmental health and safety functions, as well as Textron Innovations, Inc., the enterprise intellectual property management and licensing organization. He is also a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

O'Donnell joined Textron in March 2000. He is a senior partner in the Washington, DC-based law firm of Williams & Connolly where, prior to joining Textron, he was a member of the firm's executive committee and chairman of the hiring committee. Among his other responsibilities at Williams & Connolly, he worked closely with Textron on government contract, regulatory, and other matters prior to joining Textron.

From 1989 to 1992, he served as general counsel of the Department of Defense under Secretary Cheney. From 1972 to 1977, he served on the White House staff as deputy special assistant to President Nixon and as special assistant to President Ford. O'Donnell also served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force from June 1966 to May 1972.

O'Donnell graduated in 1966 from the Air Force Academy, and received his J.D. in 1971 from Georgetown University Law School. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court, the local and federal courts of Washington, DC, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. He is a member of the advisory committee of the United States Court of Federal Claims.

O'Donnell serves on the boards of the Gerald R. Ford Foundation, the Air Force Academy Falcon Foundation, IGI, Inc. and ePlus Inc. He also served as assistant counselor to the President of the United States Olympic Committee, Chairman of the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors and member of the United States Administrative Conference.

As general counsel of the Department of Defense, O'Donnell was awarded the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service for his contributions to the national defense and the Attorney General's Distinguished Service Award for his contributions to law enforcement.

 
Jack J. Pelton

Jack J. Pelton

Jack J. Pelton is chairman, president and chief executive officer for Cessna Aircraft Company, the leading worldwide manufacturer of general aviation aircraft. Headquartered in Wichita, Kan., Cessna has produced more than 192,000 aircraft since its founding in 1927, including the largest global fleet of approximately 5,700 business jets.

A native of California, Jack has more than three decades of aviation experience. He joined Cessna in November 2000 as senior vice president, Product Engineering and oversaw Cessna’s engineering and product development activities, including new aircraft development, design, experimental and production test flight, certifications and product improvements for all Cessna models. He was named president and chief executive officer in 2003 and chairman in 2005.

Before joining Cessna in 2000, Jack served as senior vice president, Engineering and Programs at Fairchild Dornier in Germany and was responsible for the 728JET aircraft family. Previously he held related executive positions of increasing responsibility during his 20 years at Boeing, formerly Douglas Aircraft.

Jack has a commercial pilot’s license with instrument, multi-engine and seaplane ratings. He also holds type ratings in several Citation business jets, including the Citation X, the world’s fastest civil aviation airplane. He is a single-engine aircraft owner and restores antique aircraft.

Jack’s leadership at Cessna and in the industry is well recognized. In 2008, he was bestowed one of the industry’s top accolades – the Aviation Week Laurel for Business and General Aviation. Also in 2008, Jack earned the Freedom of Flight award, the Experimental Aircraft Association’s highest honor. In 2007, he was the recipient of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce Ad Astra Award as the state’s most influential business leader.

Jack is a member of the board and past chairman of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), where he continues to serve as chairman of the Flight Operations Policy committee, and he serves on the Associate Member Advisory Board of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). He also serves on the boards of directors of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the Corporate Angel Network.

Actively involved in numerous community non-profit organizations, Jack serves on the board of trustees of the Sedgwick County Zoological Society and the boards of directors of the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas Chamber. He is chairman of EAA’s Gathering of Eagles and a member of the board and past president of Wichita Habitat for Humanity.

Based on unit sales, Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is the world's largest manufacturer of general aviation airplanes. In 2008, Cessna delivered 1,301 aircraft, including 467 Citation business jets, and reported revenues of about $5.662 billion. Cessna has a backlog of $14.5 billion as of December 31, 2008.

 
Norman B. Richter

Norman B. Richter

Norman B. Richter was appointed vice president taxes and general tax counsel for Textron in June of 2000. He is responsible for overseeing Textron's worldwide tax function and is a member of Textron's Finance Council. Richter joined Textron in 1995 as director of tax planning & senior tax counsel and in 1998, he was appointed assistant treasurer, international.

Prior to joining Textron, Richter worked in all three branches of the Federal government in various tax policy roles. He served as international tax counsel and deputy international tax counsel in the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. from 1993 to 1995. He was majority tax counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance from 1987 to 1992. From 1983 to 1984, Richter served as law clerk to Judge Arthur Nims III of the U.S. Tax Court. In addition, Richter was a tax attorney with the Steptoe & Johnson law firm in Washington, D.C. from 1984 to 1987.

He graduated cum laude from both Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is vice chair of Manufacturer’s Alliance Tax Council I, past chair of the Conference Board Council of Tax Executives, and a member of the NAM Tax Advisory Board and the Financial Executives International’s Committee on Taxation. He is a graduate of the Textron Global Leadership Forum program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and a certified Six Sigma green belt. Richter is past Chair of the Board of the French American School of Rhode Island, served on the Board of the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island, and is a graduate of the Leadership Rhode Island program.

 
Lothar R. Rosenkranz

Lothar R. Rosenkranz

Lothar Rosenkranz is president and chief executive officer of Kautex Textron Inc. Headquartered in Bonn, Germany, Kautex produces plastic fuel tank systems and steel fuel filler assemblies, camshafts, clear vision systems, blow-molded functional components and packaging products for the automotive and packaging industries. In addition to leading Kautex, Rosenkranz also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Prior to assuming his current position in 2000, Rosenkranz was vice president of operations for Kautex located in Germany. He also held various other management positions within Kautex including president, Southern Hemisphere for Kautex in Spain.

Rosenkranz earned his BS in Production Engineering from the University of Cologne and is an official assesor and trainer of the European Foundation for Quality Management. He has continued his education through an executive leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.

 
Robert O. Rowland

Robert O. Rowland

Robert Rowland was appointed vice president, government affairs in December 2003. His responsibilities include managing the Washington-based government affairs activities of Textron. Specifically, he is responsible for corporate strategies and activities that maximize Congressional and Executive Branch support for programs and issues of interest to Textron and its business units. He is also involved in business development for Textron's international operations and is a member of the Textron Customer Leadership Council.

Rowland joined Textron in 1997 and previously held the position of director, government affairs. His primary responsibility was to maximize the opportunities for U.S. government programs vital to Textron.

Prior to joining Textron, Rowland spent 25 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he earned the rank of colonel. He has fourteen years of experience in Washington-based government affairs, defense and aviation matters.

Rowland is a graduate of The University of North Texas with a BBA, as well as an MS in Management from Troy State University and an MS in National Security Affairs from the Naval War College.  He is a member of the Textron Global Leadership Team and has participated in the Executive Leadership and Management Program at the Wharton School, Ohio State University, and the Thunderbird School of International Management.  He has also attended the Center for Creative Leadership.

 
Cathy Streker

Cathy Streker

Cathy Streker is vice president human resources for Textron Inc.  She is responsible for Textron’s global human resources strategy to support domestic and international growth opportunities across the company.  Streker also plays an integral role on the company-wide Human Resources Leadership Team, comprised of the top human resources executives of Textron’s business units, and is a member of Textron’s Strategy Council.

Since joining the company in 1986, Streker has held positions of increased responsibility spanning various aspects of information technology and human resources, including global employee benefits and planning, supplier management and operation.  She also led the Program Management Office of “HR Invent”, one of the company’s most transformational human resource programs. For the past three years, Streker has served as executive director, Human Resources, where she has helped drive growth initiatives across the company, partnering with Customer Leadership/Marketing, International Business Development, Investor Relations, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications and Strategy to assess, organize and develop the company’s talent to position the company for future success.  She also provided strategic human resource support to the company’s India and Shanghai offices, aiding Textron’s international expansion efforts.

Streker earned a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College, and a master’s in Business Administration from Bryant University.  She also is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt and has completed numerous Textron-sponsored certificate programs at the American International School of Management, Center for Creative Leadership, Ohio State University and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  She also was selected for the prestigious “Leadership Rhode Island” program, which she completed in 2001.

 
Frank Tempesta

Frank L. Tempesta

Frank Tempesta leads Textron Systems segment, which includes six operating units with locations across the U.S., U.K. and Australia. Textron Systems — a key supplier and prime contractor in the defense, homeland security and aerospace communities for over 50 years — is known for its unmanned aircraft systems; armored vehicles; precision smart weapons; intelligent battlefield systems; test, training, and surveillance systems; intelligence software solutions; and aircraft piston engines. Textron Systems’ portfolio of innovative and admired operating units include: AAI, Textron Marine & Land Systems, Textron Defense Systems, Overwatch Geospatial and Tactical Systems, and Lycoming Engines. As a Segment CEO and one of Textron Inc.’s top executives, Tempesta also serves on its Operating Committee and Transformation Leadership Team.

Prior to taking over as president, Tempesta served as Textron Systems’ executive vice president and chief operating officer with oversight responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company’s operating units and the strategic planning activities of the growing, 2+ billion dollar business.

Tempesta joined Textron in 1985 as a part of the Avco Corp acquisition. He had been with Avco Systems since 1967. During his more than 40-year career with the company, he has held senior leadership positions in Program Management, Engineering, and Operations. Earlier in his career, he led engineering projects associated with strategic missile and tactical systems. Tempesta brings to Textron vast expertise in working with domestic and foreign governments and militaries as well as large aerospace and defense contractors.

Tempesta was honorably discharged as a Captain in the United States Army in 1967, after serving in South Vietnam where he commanded a U.S. Combat Engineer Company. He received his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, and is an active member of Northeastern University’s Industrial Advisory Board for the College of Engineering. He is also serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Munitions Industrial Base Task Force, Lean Aerospace Initiative, Massachusetts High Technology Council and participates in numerous aerospace and defense associations.

 
Douglas R. Wilburne

Douglas R. Wilburne

Douglas Wilburne was appointed vice president, investor relations and a Textron corporate officer in April 2000. His responsibilities include communicating Textron's strategy and financial performance to investment and business communities worldwide, including Wall Street analysts, institutional investors and business/financial media. In addition, he serves on Textron's enterprise-wide Finance Council.

Prior to joining Textron, he headed Rite Aid Corporation’s first formal investor relations program as that company managed its way through a financial reporting and management credibility crisis. From 1997 to 1999, Wilburne headed investor relations for AMP Incorporated, where he led the company's global investor relations program and guided the company through its merger with Tyco International. The first 20 years of his career were spent at Bell Atlantic Corporation, where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations, regulatory and finance. He served as Bell Atlantic's director of investor relations beginning in 1996.

Wilburne completed the Leadership at the Peak program at the Center for Creative Leadership and Textron's Global Leadership Forum at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts, a member of the National Investor Relations Institute's (NIRI) parent board, the NIRI Senior Roundtable and the Boston Chapter of NIRI. In addition, he co-chaired NIRI’s 1998 Annual Conference, which attracted more than 1,700 investor relations professionals.

Wilburne earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, where he was a member of Eta Kappa Nu, the national electrical engineering honor society, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Drexel University, where he was a member of Beta Gama Sigma, the national business administration honor society. Wilburne is a life-member of the Fame Volunteer Fire Company, No. 2 in Lewistown, PA.

 
Daniel F. Wilkinson

Daniel F. Wilkinson

Daniel F. Wilkinson is president of Jacobsen, a leading manufacturer of golf and sports turfcare equipment, commercial grounds care, and large estate lawn care equipment.

Wilkinson joined Textron in 1997 as director of national accounts at Greenlee, Textron's professional tools business. He was responsible for large customers such as The Home Depot, Grainger and Graybar. He worked his way up in the organization to the role of senior vice president of marketing and sales, where he was responsible for product development, managing the Greenlee brand, and developing the business' long-term strategy.

Before joining Textron, Wilkinson worked at General Electric for 17 years. During his tenure at GE Lighting, he held various positions with increasing responsibility in areas such as distribution planning, marketing and sales.

Wilkinson received his BS degree in Accounting from Carroll College.

 
Richard L. Yates

Richard L. Yates

Richard L. Yates was appointed senior vice president and corporate controller in August 2004 and, from February 9, 2009 to July 31,2009, was Textron’s acting chief financial officer. Yates joined Textron as vice president and controller in November 1995. He currently reports directly to Lewis Campbell, chairman and chief executive officer. As acting CFO, Richard has oversight for finance, treasury, tax, audit, and risk management operations in addition to his corporate controller responsibilities, which include management of external and internal accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning and analysis. Yates is also a member of Textron's Operating Committee, Management Committee and Transformation Leadership Team.

Yates previously served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Paul Revere Insurance Group, formerly a subsidiary of Textron, a position he had held since 1993. Yates joined Paul Revere in 1985 as vice president, controller and treasurer. In 1987, he was made vice president, treasurer, and chief financial officer. He retained these responsibilities and was promoted to senior vice president in 1991.

Before joining Paul Revere, Yates was a partner with the accounting firm of Arthur Young & Company.

Yates received a B.S. in accounting from Northeastern University, and attended Textron's Advanced Management Program. He has completed Textron's Global Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He is also a C.P.A.

He is a member of the American Institute of C.P.A.s, the Manufacturers Alliance Finance Council II, the Massachusetts Society of C.P.A.s, the Financial Executives Institute and also serves on the Corporate Executive Board Controller's Leadership Roundtable. At Textron, Yates serves on the Finance Council, the Investment Committee, Benefits Committee and the Contributions Committee.
