Lewis B. Campbell

Lewis B. Campbell

Lewis B. Campbell is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Textron Inc. He also leads the company's Management Committee, International Advisory Council and Transformation Leadership Team. Campbell has played a key role in developing Textron's strategic and operational focus, reshaping its portfolio of businesses, and leading the company to realize enterprise-wide synergies to achieve greater operating efficiencies.

Campbell was named CEO in July 1998 and appointed chairman in February 1999. He served as president and chief operating officer from January 1994 to July 1998, and reassumed the position of president in September 2001. He joined Textron in September 1992 as executive vice president and chief operating officer after a 24-year career at General Motors (GM). While at GM he held a number of key management positions, including general manufacturing manager of GM's Rochester Products Division; manufacturing manager, Chevrolet-Pontiac, GM Canada Group; and executive director, GM/UAW Quality Network. In 1988, he was named a vice president of GM as the general manager of the Flint Automotive Group. In 1991, he served as general manager of GMC's Truck Division.

Campbell earned a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University and attended the Advanced General Management Program sponsored by GM at the Harvard International School in Vevey, Switzerland.  He received his certification as a Textron Six Sigma Green Belt in March 2006.

Campbell is a director of Bristol-Myers Squibb. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable's Security Task Force, the International Trade and Investment Task Force and the Business Council.

 
R. Siisi Adu-Gyamfi

R. Siisi Adu-Gyamfi

R. Siisi Adu-Gyamfi is senior vice president international and marketing for Textron Inc. In this role, Adu-Gyamfi is responsible for identifying and executing international growth opportunities across the corporation, as well as functional leadership of sales and marketing globally. Adu-Gyamfi is also a corporate officer and a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Prior to joining Textron in January 2007, Adu-Gyamfi served as corporate vice president, marketing at Eaton Corporation. While at Eaton, he was responsible for the sales and marketing functions in all business units.  Prior to joining Eaton, Adu-Gyamfi was corporate vice president, marketing with Cummins, Inc. where he managed worldwide sales and marketing for the $1.5B power generation business.

Adu-Gyamfi holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering, a B.S. in management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

 
Kenneth C. Bohlen

Ken C. Bohlen

Ken Bohlen is executive vice president and chief innovation officer for Textron Inc. Bohlen oversees Engineering, the Global Technology Center in India, Information Systems, Integrated Supply Chain, Lean, Transformation and Textron Six Sigma.  He serves on Textron’s Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Before assuming his current position in April 2000, Bohlen was senior vice president and chief information officer, a position he held since joining Textron in 1999.

Prior to joining Textron, Bohlen spent four years with AlliedSignal Inc., where he served as vice president and chief information officer of the company's Aerospace Group. He also held several other senior positions, including vice president of supply chain and chief information officer for AlliedSignal Engines; vice president of Six Sigma; and director of supply chain and business process improvement for AlliedSignal Inc.

Before joining AlliedSignal, Bohlen spent 20 years with Deere & Company. While at Deere, he held numerous information and manufacturing technology-related positions, culminating in his final position as head of information services for the John Deere Waterloo operations.

Bohlen received his BS in computer science from Iowa State University and his MBA from the University of Iowa. He is a member on the IBM Advisory Board, a member of the American Production Inventory Control Society, a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers' Computer and Automated Systems Association and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Bohlen is Green Belt certified.

 
Frederick K. Butler

Frederick K. Butler

Frederick K. Butler was named vice president business ethics and corporate secretary of Textron in January 1999. He is responsible for all corporate secretary duties and oversees corporate compliance activities.

Butler joined Textron in 1980 as a staff attorney for the corporate office and in 1984, he was named group counsel and assistant secretary. In 1985, he was appointed vice president law of Textron Investment Management Company and became senior vice president law of Textron Investment Management Company in 1991. In 1992, he joined the Paul Revere Insurance Company, at that time a Textron subsidiary, as vice president and general counsel of Paul Revere Investment Management Corporation. He rejoined Textron Inc. in 1994 as assistant general counsel, was named group general counsel financial services in 1995, and vice president and secretary in 1997 before assuming his current position in 1999.

Prior to joining Textron, Butler was an associate at the New York law firm of Dewey, Ballantine, Bushby, Palmer and Wood.

Butler received his B.A. from Harvard University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development and Advanced Management Program.

 
John D. Butler

John D. Butler

John D. Butler is executive vice president administration and chief human resources officer of Textron Inc. He oversees Textron's worldwide human resources function as well as administrative services, corporate real estate, community affairs, and the company's aviation department. Butler serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Prior to joining Textron in July 1997, Butler was vice president of human resources for General Motors (GM) International Operations based in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was responsible for the strategic planning and direction of all GM human resource activities outside North America. He was also a member of the Adam Opel A.G. Supervisory Board. Butler joined GM in 1969, and during his 28-year career with the company, he assumed assignments of increasing responsibility in the areas of manufacturing operations, labor relations, employee benefits and human resource management in the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Butler received a BS degree as well as a Master's degree from Michigan State University. He is also a graduate of the Advanced General Management Program at Harvard University, a Trustee and Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), and a Director of the Human Resources Policy Association (HRPA). 

Butler is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
Gary Cantrell

Gary Cantrell

Gary Cantrell was appointed vice president and chief information officer for Textron Information Services (TIS) in February 2006. His responsibilities include directing the day-to-day activities of TIS as well as managing TIS executive staff members and business unit CIOs. Cantrell oversees Textron’s Information Management Council.

Prior to joining Textron, Cantrell held senior-level roles with Bank of America as senior vice president, Enterprise Access and Technology Services, and senior vice president, Supply Chain Management for Technology and Operations. Before joining Bank of America in 2001, he spent 15 years at Honeywell International where he held a variety of information systems, management, finance and engineering positions.

Cantrell earned a B.S. degree in management and finance from the University of Dayton and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.

 
Buell J. Carter

Buell J. Carter

Buell J. Carter, Jr. ("Jay") is president and chief operating officer of Textron Financial Corporation (TFC). TFC is a diversified commercial finance company with core operations in Aircraft Finance, Asset-Based Lending, Distribution Finance, Golf Finance, Resort Finance, and Structured Capital. TFC also provides financing programs for products manufactured by other Textron companies. In addition to leading TFC, Carter also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Since joining TFC in 1990, Carter has held a variety of key management positions in both marketing and operations. Before assuming his current position in January 2002, Carter served as TFC's executive vice president and chief operating officer, a position he held since 1999.

Prior to joining TFC, Carter held increasing levels of responsibility in senior P & L leadership roles within ITT Diversified Credit Corporation. Before ITT, Jay held credit and sales positions within Westinghouse Credit Corporation and Chase Manhattan Bank.

Carter received his BS in physics from the University of Louisville, where he graduated with honors. He attended the Advanced Management Program sponsored by Textron and Harvard Business School as well as the Global Leader Forum sponsored by Textron and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. Carter is a member of the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee, of the Commercial Finance Association. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Providence Foundation.

 
Marianne Corr

Marianne Corr

Marianne Corr was appointed deputy general counsel - litigation in April 2002 and was named vice president in January 2003. She is responsible for overseeing the Corporate litigation group and for managing and overseeing the litigation filed by or against the company's active and discontinued operations. Corr is a member of the enterprise-wide Legal Council, the enterprise-wide Diversity Team, and she serves on the Benefits Committee.

Corr joined Textron in 1996 as corporate counsel. She held a series of positions in the Legal Department before assuming her current role. Before joining Textron, she was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of the international law firm of Jones Day, and a partner in the law firm of Corr, Stevens & Fenningham in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Corr received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, and a L.L.M from Temple University Law School. She has completed Textron's Global Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. She is a member of the Boards of the Rhode Island Convention Center Authority, and Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education, as well as the national Products Liability Advisory Council. Corr is also a member of the Capital Campaign Committee for Women & Infants Hospital.

 
John R. Curran

John R. Curran

John R. Curran was appointed vice president of mergers and acquisitions for Textron in October 2000. Curran is responsible for overseeing and managing business development activities, including mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships for Textron.

Curran joined Textron in 1983 as a tax analyst. In the tax department, he held several positions including group tax director, director of tax planning and senior tax counsel. In 1994, he was named director of business planning, and in October 1995, Curran joined Industrial Products as director of business development. He was appointed vice president business development for Textron's Industrial Products segment in October 1998. Prior to joining Textron, Curran was with the auditing firm of Touche Ross & Co.

Curran received his B.A. in economics and government from Cornell University. He earned his J.D. from Boston College, and his L.L.M. in taxation from Boston University. Curran is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development and the Advanced Management programs.

Curran is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
Scott Donnelly

Scott C. Donnelly

Scott C. Donnelly is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Textron Inc. Donnelly oversees Textron’s manufacturing business units as well as the corporation’s Information Technology, Six Sigma, Engineering and Global Sourcing functions. In addition to chairing the company’s Operating Committee, he serves on Textron’s Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Prior to joining Textron in July 2008, Donnelly was president and CEO for General Electric (GE) Aviation, the world’s leading producer of large and small jet engines for commercial and military aircraft and a major provider of flight management, actuation and power management systems. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president and director of GE Global Research, the world’s largest and most diversified industrial research organization.

Donnelly joined GE in 1989 as manager of Electronics Design Engineering for GE’s Ocean Systems Division in Syracuse, NY. He went on to serve in a variety of leadership roles for the company, including engineering management positions with then-GE division of Martin Marietta in both Australia and the United States. In 1995, he moved to GE’s Industrial Control Systems business, where he held various management positions. Donnelly was named a vice president of GE in 1997, responsible for Global Technology Operations at GE Healthcare.

Donnelly received a BS degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He serves on the Engineering Advisory Committees at Cornell University and the University of Colorado, is a member of the Board of Trustees at Siena College and the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Cincinnati.

Donnelly is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
William Ellis

William M. Ellis

William M. Ellis is President of Textron Fluid & Power Inc., which manufactures industrial pumps and gear systems used in the plastics, chemical refining, transportation and other markets.

Before assuming his current position in August 2004, Ellis was vice president Textron Six Sigma and Transformation. In this role, Ellis worked with Textron's business units and enterprise functions on the continued deployment of critical enterprise-wide processes and systems to improve business performance and achieve Textron's corporate vision. In addition to leading the Fluid & Power business, Ellis serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Previously, Ellis was vice president of Textron Six Sigma for Textron Fastening Systems, a position he held since January 2002. Ellis joined Textron as vice president supply chain for Textron Fastening Systems in April 2001.

Prior to joining Textron, Ellis spent 10 years at General Electric in positions of increased responsibility spanning the company's Six Sigma, Supply Chain, Materials Services, Operations, Quality and Financial Audit functions. Specifically at GE Aircraft Engines, Ellis led their $2.6 billion spare parts business, the reengineering of business-wide supply chain processes, provided leadership to Master Black Belts in commercial quality arenas and increased inventory turnover by more than 30 percent.

As a Captain in the US Army, Ellis was a trained aircraft maintenance and logistics officer and a test pilot on the Bell AH-1 Cobra aircraft. He also flew VIP support in Bell UH-1 helicopters, in the Republic of South Korea.

Ellis received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle University. He is also a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

 
Ted R. French

Ted R. French

Ted R. French is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Textron Inc. He also serves as Chairman and CEO of Textron Financial Corporation. French is a member of Textron's Management Committee and Transformation Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Textron in December 2000, French served as president, financial services and chief financial officer for CNH Global NV, an $11 billion leader in the agricultural equipment, construction equipment and financial services industries created through the 1999 merger of Case Corporation and New Holland NV. Prior to the merger, he spent 10 years with Case Corporation in various management positions. He joined Case in 1989 as vice president of corporate planning and development, where he led the development of the company's business strategy and restructuring programs. In January 1992, he was promoted to president, financial services and chief financial officer, a title he retained after the merger with New Holland NV. From 1992 to 1994, he also served as treasurer of Case.

Previously, French spent 12 years with Rockwell International in a variety of finance, operations, strategic planning and corporate development positions, including director of business development for Rockwell Automotive.

French earned his BBA in economics and his MBA from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the board of directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Issuers Advisory Committee of Standard & Poors and the Editorial Advisory Board of CFO Magazine. He previously served on the advisory committee of the U.S. Export-Import Bank (EXIM).

French is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
Arnold Friedman

Arnold Friedman

Arnold M. Friedman was appointed vice president and deputy general counsel of Textron in July 1984. He is responsible for managing the Corporate legal staff with primary responsibility for overseeing all legal matters other than litigation, including mergers and acquisitions, SEC, Corporate finance, antitrust, compliance, international, intellectual property, government contracts and real estate. Friedman is a member of the enterprise-wide Legal and Engineering & Technology Councils and leads the enterprise-wide e-Business Legal Team.

Friedman joined Textron in 1975 as a staff attorney. In 1977, he became assistant general counsel, and in 1983, he was named deputy general counsel. Prior to joining Textron, Friedman was with the Boston firm of Widett & Widett.

Friedman received his A.B. from Cornell University. He did post graduate work at Harvard University. Friedman received his L.L.B. from Harvard Law School. He is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development Program.

Friedman is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
Michael A. Gardner

Michael A. Gardner

Michael A. Gardner was named vice president Textron audit services February 2003. He is responsible for all internal audit activities at Textron and at its business units, with reporting responsibilities to Textron's audit committee of the board of directors. Gardner is a member of Textron's Finance Council.

Prior to joining Textron, Gardner was vice president and chief risk officer from 2002 to 2003 and director and vice president internal audit from1995 to 2002 at Hillenbrand Industries. Gardner also held various positions in the controllers and internal audit departments at Ameritech from 1986 to 1995 and was a faculty member in the School of Business at Indiana State University from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, Gardner was audit supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand CPA firm (Pricewaterhousecoopers) from 1981 to 1984 and senior internal auditor at Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals from 1979 to 1981.

Gardner received his B.A. in political science & economics and his M.B.A. from Indiana University. Gardner is currently on the Board of Governors and adjunct faculty of the Institute of Internal Auditors, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Gardner is also a certified public accountant, internal auditor, information systems auditor and certified fraud examiner.

 
John Garrison

John Garrison

John L. Garrison, Jr. is president of Textron's Industrial segment which is comprised of five businesses that manufacture and market branded industrial products worldwide: E-Z-GO, Jacobsen, Greenlee, Kautex and Fluid & Power Group. Garrison is a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation. 

Garrison was promoted to this position in November 2007 after serving as president of Textron’s E-Z-GO business, the world's leading manufacturer of vehicles for golf courses, resort communities, recreational applications and municipalities, as well as commercial and industrial venues.

Garrison joined Textron in February 2002 from Azurix Corporation where he was chairman, president and CEO. Azurix is a global water company engaged in the design, construction and operation of water and wastewater systems and facilities. Before joining Azurix in May 1999, Garrison was vice president and general manager of Case Corporation's North American Agricultural Group and vice president and general manager for Case's Agricultural Systems Group.

Garrison received his BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy, as well as an MBA from Harvard University. He also has completed Textron's Global Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Garrison serves on the boards of the Club Managers Club Foundation and Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI.

 
Stuart Grief

Stuart Grief

Stuart Grief is vice president strategy and business development for Textron Inc. In this role, Grief works closely with senior leadership across the enterprise in creating and implementing business unit and corporate strategies that drive growth, profitability, and shareholder value creation. In addition to leading Textron's cross-enterprise Strategy Council, Grief is also a corporate officer and a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Prior to joining Textron in July 2004, Grief served as a vice president and director at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). During his 14-year tenure at BCG, he was a senior member of the U.S. Industrial Goods and Automotive practices and a leader of the Corporate Finance and Strategy practice. His extensive expertise in the areas of business development, market and portfolio strategy and operations includes client work in market segmentation, growth strategies, and restructuring and business integration. Grief also led BCG's recruiting activities in Boston for five years.

Grief holds a BA with honors in economics and computer science from Brandeis University and an MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.

 
J. Scott Hall

J. Scott Hall

J. Scott Hall is president of Greenlee Textron Inc., a leader in wire and cable installation systems, and the premier source for professional-grade tools and test instruments to the electrical contractor and voice/data/video markets, as well as the telecommunication and CATV industry. In addition to leading Greenlee, Hall also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Before joining Textron in March 2001, Hall held a number of leadership positions during a 17-year career at General Cable Co., including his most recent role as senior vice president and general manager of communication cables.

Hall received his Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario's Ivey School of Business. In addition to his business commitments, Hall also serves on many boards including the Rockford ProAm.

 
Kevin Holleran

Kevin Holleran

Kevin Holleran is president of E-Z-GO, the world's leading manufacturer of vehicles for golf courses, resort communities, recreational applications and municipalities, as well as commercial and industrial venues. In addition to leading E-Z-GO, Holleran also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Holleran joined Textron in 2003 as vice president of sales and marketing at E-Z-GO.  In this critical role, Holleran was responsible for global sales, marketing and product services, and contributed to the organic growth of the company through a variety of initiatives. 

Previously, Holleran served as vice president of sales and marketing at Terex Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer that produces a broad range of equipment for use in various industries.  He also held senior sales and marketing roles with Ingersoll Rand.

Holleran received his BS from Cornell University, as well as an MBA from Wake Forest University. He also has completed Textron's Global Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and is Green Belt certified.

 
Mary L. Howell

Mary L. Howell

Mary L. Howell is executive vice president for Textron Inc., a position she has held since August 1995. Howell oversees Textron's government, strategy development and international, investor relations and corporate communications functions. She serves on Textron's International Advisory Council, Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Howell joined Textron in 1980. In her current role, Howell is actively involved in formulating long-term global business strategies, developing business opportunities for Textron business units in growth markets overseas and establishing marketing and communications initiatives. She chairs the Customer Leadership Council, an organization of senior executives from Textron Corporate and business segment operations who develop and implement initiatives to improve the Textron enterprise's ability to focus on and meet the objectives of its government and commercial customers. She also directs the Washington, DC-based marketing and government affairs activities for Textron and its business units. In 2006, approximately 19% of Textron’s revenues (over $2 billion) were generated by or resulted from contracts with the U.S. government. In addition, she oversees internal and external communication of Textron's strategy and performance to key constituencies such as investors, employees and the media.

Howell serves on the boards of directors of both the National Association of Manufacturers and Aerospace Industries Association, two of the leading organizations representing the American manufacturing sector. She also serves on the board of directors of FM Global, the world's largest commercial and industrial property insurance and risk management organization. Howell is also a board member of the Atlantic Council of the United States, a non-partisan network of leaders committed to enhancing U.S. leadership through foreign policy projects. She was president of the Business-Government Relations Council and is a member of several other Washington-area professional organizations. Howell is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Howell is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt.

 
D. Lynnn Kelley

D. Lynn Kelley, Ph.D.

Lynn Kelley is Vice President, Textron Six Sigma, a position she was appointed to in May 2007. Kelley drives the ongoing deployment of Textron Six Sigma and the continuous improvement of its DMAIC, DFSS and Lean capabilities across all Textron business units, including Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, E-Z-GO, Jacobsen and others. She is a member of the Textron Transformation Leadership Team, a Corporate Officer and a Textron Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Kelley began her Textron career at Textron Fastening Systems in 1999, where she held various positions, including Vice President, Continuous Improvement and Acting Vice President of Strategic Planning. She spent time at Textron Fluid & Power and had various international assignments. As Performance Solutions Manager for Textron University, Kelley led the development and deployment of new courses for Textron Six Sigma, Lean and Integrated Supply Chain, in support of Textron’s heightened focus on talent development.

Prior to joining Textron, she was Professor, Department Chair, and Director of the Master’s Degree in Quality and Operations Management at Madonna University, School of Business, in Livonia, Michigan. She also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Doctors Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Kelley holds a PhD from Wayne State University, an MBA from Michigan State University Executive MBA Program, and a BBA, Business Management from University of Detroit-Mercy. She has published books in the fields of statistics and operational excellence, and served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, a judge for the Michigan Quality Leadership Award, and an executive committee member for both the Michigan Quality Council and Caucus for Women in Statistics.

 
Mary Lovejoy

Mary Lovejoy

Mary F. Lovejoy was appointed vice president and treasurer of Textron in April 2000. She is responsible for overseeing the company's financing activities, global treasury operations, the investment of pension fund assets and Textron's insurance programs. In addition, she serves on Textron's enterprise-wide Finance Council.

During her career with Textron, Lovejoy has held key positions in the field of investor relations and communications. She joined Textron in 1993 as director of investor relations. In 1995, she was promoted to vice president, investor relations and in 1996, she assumed responsibility for all corporate communications activities.

Prior to joining Textron, Lovejoy was vice president and senior corporate banker at the First National Bank of Chicago. During her 16 years at First Chicago, she held a variety of positions at the bank's Chicago, Boston and London offices.

Lovejoy received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. She is currently a member of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation's Rhode Island Advisory Board, a board member of the International Institute Rhode Island, and a board member for the Festival Ballet. Lovejoy is a past participant in the Textron Executive Development and the Advanced Management programs.

 
Richard J. Millman

Richard J. Millman

Richard Millman is president and chief executive officer of Bell Helicopter.  He assumed his position in January 2007.  He also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Bell Helicopter is a leader in the global helicopter industry and the pioneer of tiltrotor aircraft.  Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Bell also has manufacturing facilities located in Amarillo, Texas; Mirabel, Quebec in Canada; Piney Flats, Tennessee, and Ozark, Alabama.  Additionally Bell maintains a worldwide customer support network that is recognized as the best in the industry.

Mr. Millman was president of Textron Systems Corporation from August 1995 until assuming his current responsibilities.  In that position, he was responsible for Textron Systems, Textron Marine & Land, HR Textron, Lycoming Engines and Overwatch Systems.  Prior to assuming his position with Textron Systems, Millman served as Textron Inc.'s vice president in the Office of the Chairman with strategic planning responsibilities as well as vice president of operations services with responsibilities for improving costs and efficiencies across the corporation.

From 1987 to 1994, Millman served as president of HR Textron Inc., a major supplier of hydraulic and electromechanical control systems, engines components and aircraft control systems for the aerospace industry, among others.  He joined Textron after a 20-year career at Avco Corporation, which was acquired by Textron in 1986.  Previously, Millman served on the technical staff at the Mitre Corporation

Millman received a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. He is the current board chairman for the American Helicopter Society, serves on the executive board of the Air Force/MIT/Industry Lean Aerospace Initiative consortium, and previously served on the on the NDIA Board of Trustees and the ARDAC Commanding General's Advisory Council. A former member of the U.S. Rowing Team, Millman continues to compete in U.S. and International rowing events.

 
Terrence O' Donnell

Terrence O' Donnell

Terrence O'Donnell is executive vice president and general counsel of Textron Inc. O'Donnell oversees Textron's legal, ethics and compliance, and environmental health and safety functions, as well as Textron Innovations, Inc., the enterprise intellectual property management and licensing organization. He is also a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team and Management Committee.

O'Donnell joined Textron in March 2000. He is a senior partner in the Washington, DC-based law firm of Williams & Connolly where, prior to joining Textron, he was a member of the firm's executive committee and chairman of the hiring committee. Among his other responsibilities at Williams & Connolly, he worked closely with Textron on government contract, regulatory, and other matters prior to joining Textron.

From 1989 to 1992 he served as general counsel of the Department of Defense under Secretary Cheney. From 1972 to 1977, he served on the White House staff as deputy special assistant to President Nixon and as special assistant to President Ford. O'Donnell also served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force from June 1966 to May 1972.

O'Donnell graduated in 1966 from the Air Force Academy, and received his J.D. in 1971 from Georgetown University Law School. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court, the local and federal courts of Washington, DC, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. He is a member of the advisory committee of the United States Court of Federal Claims.

O'Donnell serves on the boards of the Gerald R. Ford Foundation, the Air Force Academy Falcon Foundation, IGI, Inc. and ePlus Inc. He also served as assistant counselor to the President of the United States Olympic Committee, Chairman of the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors and member of the United States Administrative Conference.

As general counsel of the Department of Defense, O'Donnell was awarded the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service for his contributions to the national defense and the Attorney General's Distinguished Service Award for his contributions to law enforcement.

 
Jack J. Pelton

Jack J. Pelton

Jack J. Pelton is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Cessna Aircraft Company, the leading worldwide manufacturer of general aviation aircraft. Headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, Cessna has produced more than 189,000 aircraft since the company was founded in 1927, including the largest global fleet of nearly 5,000 business jets.

Pelton, a native of California, has more than three decades of aviation experience. He joined Cessna in November 2000 as senior vice president of product engineering and oversaw Cessna’s engineering and product development activities, including new aircraft development, design, experimental and production test flight, certifications and product improvements for all Cessna models. He was named President and CEO in 2003 and Chairman in 2005.

Before joining Cessna in 2000, Pelton served as senior vice president of engineering and programs at Fairchild Dornier in Germany and was responsible for the 728JET aircraft family. Previously he held related executive positions of increasing responsibility during his 20 years at Boeing, formerly Douglas Aircraft.

Pelton holds a commercial pilot’s license with instrument, multi-engine and seaplane ratings. He also holds type ratings in several Cessna Citation business jets, including the Citation X, the world’s fastest civil aviation airplane. He is a single engine aircraft owner and restores legacy aircraft.

Owing to his position as leader of the world’s largest general aviation manufacturing company, Pelton has become active in helping formulate national policy on general aviation, and is frequently called on to testify before Congress and other government agencies on industry issues. He was recently awarded the Kansas Chamber of Commerce Ad Astra Award as the state’s most influential business leader in 2006.

Pelton is the immediate past chairman of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) where he continues to serve as chairman of the Flight Operations Policy committee, and serves on the Associate Member Advisory Board of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). He also serves on the boards of directors of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the Corporate Angel Network, and the Light Aircraft Manufacturers Association (LAMA).

Pelton is actively involved in numerous community non-profit organizations, serving on the board of trustees of the Sedgwick County Zoological Society and the boards of directors of both the Wichita Area Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas Chamber. He is chairman of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Gathering of Eagles and a member of the board and past president of Wichita Habitat for Humanity.

 
Norman B. Richter

Norman B. Richter

Norman B. Richter was appointed vice president for Textron in June of 2000.  He is responsible for overseeing Textron's worldwide tax function and is a member of Textron's Finance Council.

Richter joined Textron in 1995 as director of tax planning & senior tax counsel and in 1998, he was appointed assistant treasurer, international.

Prior to joining Textron, Richter worked in all three branches of the Federal government in various tax policy roles.  He served as international tax counsel and deputy international tax counsel in the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. from 1993 to 1995.  He was majority tax counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance from 1987 to 1992.  He was attorney-adviser to Judge Arthur Nims of the U.S. Tax Court from 1983 to 1984.  In addition, Richter was a tax attorney with the Steptoe & Johnson law firm in Washington, D.C. from 1984 to 1987.

He graduated cum laude from both Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  He is a past participant in the Textron Global Leadership Forum program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.  He is vice chair of MAPI Tax Council, past chair of the Conference Board Council of Tax Executives and a member of the NAM Tax Advisory Board.

 
Lothar R. Rosenkranz

Lothar R. Rosenkranz

Lothar Rosenkranz is president and chief executive officer of Kautex Textron Inc. Headquartered in Bonn, Germany, Kautex produces plastic fuel tank systems and steel fuel filler assemblies, camshafts, clear vision systems, blow-molded functional components and packaging products for the automotive and packaging industries. In addition to leading Kautex, Rosenkranz also serves on Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Prior to assuming his current position in 2000, Rosenkranz was vice president of operations for Kautex located in Germany. He also held various other management positions within Kautex including president, Southern Hemisphere for Kautex in Spain.

Rosenkranz earned his BS in Production Engineering from the University of Cologne and is an official assesor and trainer of the European Foundation for Quality Management. He has continued his education through an executive leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.

 
Robert O. Rowland

Robert O. Rowland

Robert Rowland was appointed vice president, government affairs in December 2003. His responsibilities include managing the Washington-based government affairs activities of Textron. Specifically, he is responsible for corporate strategies and activities that maximize Congressional and Executive Branch support for programs and issues of interest to Textron and its business units. He is also involved in business development for Textron's international operations and is a member of the Textron Customer Leadership Council.

Rowland joined Textron in 1997 and previously held the position of director, government affairs. His primary responsibility was to maximize the opportunities for U.S. government programs vital to Textron.

Prior to joining Textron, Rowland spent 25 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he earned the rank of colonel. He has thirteen years of experience in Washington-based government affairs, defense and aviation matters.

Rowland is a graduate of The University of North Texas with a BBA, as well as an MS in Management from Troy State University and an MS in National Security Affairs from the Naval War College.  He is a member of the Textron Global Leadership Team and has participated in the Executive Leadership and Management Program at the Wharton School, Ohio State University, and the Thunderbird School of International Management.  He has also attended the Center for Creative Leadership.

 
Cathy Streker

Cathy Streker

Cathy Streker is vice president human resources for Textron Inc.  She is responsible for Textron’s global human resources strategy to support domestic and international growth opportunities across the company.  Streker also plays an integral role on the company-wide Human Resources Leadership Team, comprised of the top human resources executives of Textron’s business units, and is a member of Textron’s Strategy Council.

Since joining the company in 1986, Streker has held positions of increased responsibility spanning various aspects of information technology and human resources, including global employee benefits and planning, supplier management and operation.  She also led the Program Management Office of “HR Invent”, one of the company’s most transformational human resource programs. For the past three years, Streker has served as executive director, Human Resources, where she has helped drive growth initiatives across the company, partnering with Customer Leadership/Marketing, International Business Development, Investor Relations, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications and Strategy to assess, organize and develop the company’s talent to position the company for future success.  She also provided strategic human resource support to the company’s India and Shanghai offices, aiding Textron’s international expansion efforts.

Streker earned a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College, and a master’s in Business Administration from Bryant University.  She also is a certified Textron Six Sigma Green Belt and has completed numerous Textron-sponsored certificate programs at the American International School of Management, Center for Creative Leadership, Ohio State University and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  She also was selected for the prestigious “Leadership Rhode Island” program, which she completed in 2001.

 
Susan Tardanico

Susan Tardanico

Susan M. Tardanico was appointed vice president, communications in 2004. She oversees all of Textron’s internal and external strategic communications, corporate reputation management, executive communications, marketing communications and brand management. She chairs the company’s enterprise-wide Communications Council, comprised of communications leaders from Textron’s business units including Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, E-Z-GO, Jacobsen and others that make up the $13.2 billion corporation.

Tardanico joined Textron in 1988, and during her tenure has held positions of increased responsibility. Prior to joining Textron’s corporate office in 1994, she spent six years at the company’s Specialty Materials division in various communications roles, culminating as director of communications and market development. In 2000, Tardanico assumed a special assignment in London for Textron, and later was selected to help define and lead the company’s major Transformation effort.

Prior to joining Textron, Tardanico was manager of corporate public relations and marketing communications for EMC Corporation, the world leader in information storage and management. Previously, she was a broadcast news reporter and assignment editor at two Boston-area television stations.

Tardanico graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and English. She also completed executive leadership programs at Harvard University, University of Chicago, the Center for Creative Leadership, University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and the Garvin School of International Management at Thunderbird. She is a charter member of the Communications Executive Council, comprised of Communications heads of major corporations around the globe, and a member of the elite Arthur W. Page Society, dedicated to strengthening the management policy role of the Chief Communications Officer in Corporate America.

 
Frank Tempesta

Frank Tempesta

Frank Tempesta leads Textron Systems Corporation, which includes seven operating units with locations across the U.S., the U.K. and Australia.  Textron Systems — a key supplier and prime contractor in the defense, homeland security and aerospace communities for over 50 years — is known for its precision smart weapons, intelligent battlefield systems, surveillance systems, intelligence software solutions, aircraft control components, piston engines, armored vehicles and unmanned aircraft systems.  Textron Systems’ operating units include AAI, HR Textron, Lycoming Engines, Overwatch Geospatial, Overwatch Tactical, Textron Defense Systems, and Textron Marine & Land Systems.  As one of Textron Inc.’s top executives, Tempesta serves on its Transformation Leadership Team and Operating Committee.

Prior to taking over as president, Tempesta served as Textron Systems’ executive vice president and chief operating officer with oversight responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company’s operating units and the strategic planning activities of the growing, billion-dollar business.

Tempesta joined Textron in 1985 as a part of the Avco Systems acquisition.  He had been with Avco Systems since 1967 and, during his more than 40-year career with the company, has held several engineering, program management, operations and leadership positions of increasing responsibility.  This included his role as the company’s senior, and then executive, vice president of Aerospace and Defense as well as its senior vice president of Military Products and vice president of Integrated Product Development.  Tempesta brings to Textron vast expertise in working with domestic and foreign governments and militaries as well as large aerospace and defense contractors.

Tempesta left the United States Army as a Captain in 1967, after serving in South Vietnam where he commanded a U.S. Combat Engineer Company.  He received his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, and is an active member of Northeastern University’s Industrial Advisory Board.  He is also a member of the Massachusetts High Technology Council, sits on the Executive Board of Directors of the Munitions Industrial Base Task Force, and participates in numerous aerospace and defense associations.

 
Douglas R. Wilburne

Douglas R. Wilburne

Douglas Wilburne was appointed vice president, investor relations and a Textron corporate officer in April 2000. His responsibilities include communicating Textron's strategy and financial performance to investment and business communities worldwide, including Wall Street analysts, institutional investors and business/financial media. In addition, he serves on Textron's enterprise-wide Finance Council.

Prior to joining Textron, he headed Rite Aid Corporation’s first formal investor relations program as that company managed its way through a financial reporting and management credibility crisis. From 1997 to 1999, Wilburne headed investor relations for AMP Incorporated, where he led the company's global investor relations program and guided the company through its merger with Tyco International. The first 20 years of his career were spent at Bell Atlantic Corporation, where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations, regulatory and finance. He served as Bell Atlantic's director of investor relations beginning in 1996.

Wilburne completed the Leadership at the Peak program at the Center for Creative Leadership and Textron's Global Leadership Forum at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts, the Boston chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and is a member of NIRI's parent board.

Wilburne earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, where he was a member of Eta Kappa Nu, the national electrical engineering honor society, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Drexel University, where he was a member of Beta Gama Sigma, the national business administration honor society. Wilburne is a life-member of the Fame Volunteer Fire Company, No. 2 in Lewistown, PA.

 
Daniel F. Wilkinson

Daniel F. Wilkinson

Daniel F. Wilkinson is president of Jacobsen, a leading manufacturer of golf and sports turfcare equipment, commercial grounds care, and large estate lawn care equipment.

Wilkinson joined Textron in 1997 as director of national accounts at Greenlee, Textron's professional tools business. He was responsible for large customers such as The Home Depot, Grainger and Graybar. He worked his way up in the organization to the role of senior vice president of marketing and sales, where he was responsible for product development, managing the Greenlee brand, and developing the business' long-term strategy.

Before joining Textron, Wilkinson worked at General Electric for 17 years. During his tenure at GE Lighting, he held various positions with increasing responsibility in areas such as distribution planning, marketing and sales.

Wilkinson received his BS degree in Accounting from Carroll College.

 
Richard Yates

Richard Yates

Richard L. Yates was appointed senior vice president and corporate controller in August 2004. Yates joined Textron as vice president and controller in November 1995. He reports directly to Ted French, executive vice president and chief financial officer. He is responsible for overseeing external and internal accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning and analysis. He leads transformation-related finance activities, including the development of Finance Shared Services. Yates has also been instrumental in developing and driving Textron's control processes and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance standards. Yates is also a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.

Yates previously served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Paul Revere Insurance Group, formerly a subsidiary of Textron, a position he had held since 1993. Yates joined Paul Revere in 1985 as vice president, controller and treasurer. In 1987, he was made vice president, treasurer, and chief financial officer. He retained these responsibilities and was promoted to senior vice president in 1991.

Before joining Paul Revere, Yates was a partner with the accounting firm of Arthur Young & Company.

Yates received a B.S. in accounting from Northeastern University, and attended Textron's Advanced Management Program. He has completed Textron's Global Leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He is also a C.P.A.

He is a member of the American Institute of C.P.A.s, the Manufacturers Alliance Finance Council II, the Massachusetts Society of C.P.A.s, the Financial Executives Institute and also serves on the Corporate Executive Board Controller's Leadership Roundtable. At Textron, Yates serves on the Finance Council, the Investment Committee, Benefits Committee and the Contributions Committee.
