Members of our Finance team play integral roles within their respective business units and corporate office. Not only are they responsible for financial reporting and transparency, but they are also involved in the strategic decisions that grow and enhance our businesses. Finance team members develop a thorough understanding of the business that they operate in by working closely with other departments – from supply chain to marketing to the manufacturing floor.
Because of the strategic nature of this work, Textron encourages candidates with varied backgrounds and/or degrees. The skills and capabilities that come with a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles are important, but so are other types of education and business experience. Textron especially encourages candidates with MBAs or other advanced degrees to apply for Finance positions.
Textron values talent development and offers a variety of training and continuing education opportunities to employees within its Finance organizations. This includes online and classroom training through Textron University, a weeklong leadership program at the Wharton School for finance leaders and a finance leaders summit that addresses specific finance and management issues.
When you join a finance organization within Textron, you are embarking on a rewarding career path.
