Becoming the premier multi-industry company requires a company with world-class processes that drive innovation, enhance quality and eliminate waste in supply chain/operations.
Textron Six Sigma is enabling Textron to achieve these goals. Its robust suite of methodologies and tools provides our certified Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts with the skills to engage in projects that result in continuous improvement efforts across all of our business units and functional areas. Using Textron Six Sigma’s methods and Lean processes allows our employees – regardless of location or language – to work in a cohesive and consistent manner to become a more efficient and more productive company.
Textron Six Sigma is also a key talent development vehicle, helping to prepare current and future leaders in the company. Textron Six Sigma offers training paths to provide enhanced problem-solving capabilities while also developing and improving project management and influencing skills.
Blacks Belts and Green Belts work with fellow employees across the enterprise to solve some of Textron’s most complex business problems as well as to develop innovative solutions that delight customers.
Like our journey towards premier, the opportunities to learn through Textron Six Sigma are ongoing. Textron Six Sigma has developed a Lean Academy to further the company’s drive to become a leaner, more efficient enterprise and complement the Textron Six Sigma training.
Lean Academy builds lean capability across all Textron business units, educating candidates on lean methodology and techniques. Lean capability building is essential today to satisfy customers. It enables Textron to create and deliver products and services when and where our customers demand them at the quality specifications and the price in which they demand them.
The Exchange was created as an annual, enterprise-wide event by the Textron Six Sigma Council for Black Belts and Master Black Belts to showcase talented people, share best practices and leverage common processes
