Innovation drives Textron. In fact, it was the innovation of Textron founder Royal Little that built a small yarn-making company into what is today a multi-industry, $14.2 billion company that now ranks 173rd on the Forbes 500 list.
Our employees continue to innovate – whether it’s designing new products that delight customers, creating new business processes that allow us and our customers to work more efficiently or developing advanced technologies. Textron rewards innovation in a number of ways, including employee awards programs.
The Chairman’s Award for Innovation is presented annually to those employees whose exemplary innovations have led to significant and measurable improvements in Textron’s products, technology or business practices, directly contributing to Textron’s growth, globalization, profitability or competitive position.
The Exchange is an annual, enterprise-wide event sponsored by the Textron Six Sigma Council. It is an opportunity for Black Belts and Master Black Belts to showcase talented people, share best practices and leverage common processes.
