 Innovation is ongoing and everywhere at Textron. The Exchange is an opportunity for Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts to showcase this innovation. Sponsored by the Textron Six Sigma Council, the Exchange is held annually to bring people together, share best practices and find Black Belt projects that can be replicated in other business units. Projects that have been replicated and fully deployed are highlighted on display boards at The Exchange.
Black Belt nominees are eligible for recognition of outstanding individual achievement in a variety of categories, including the most Green Belt projects mentored to closure, the most projects replicated by a Black Belt and the Black Belt with the most projects replicated by others.
The Entz Award is given to the Master Black Belt or Sensei who exhibits the generous and nurturing spirit of the late Dave Entz, a Master Black Belt from Cessna. An award for the Best Black Belt Wave is also presented at The Exchange.
