Here’s what you can expect from a Textron internship or co-op program
Through an internship or a co-op, you will experience the same level of responsibility we give to our early career hires. In addition to the meaningful work experience they provide, our multi-month internships and co-ops allow both you and us an opportunity to get to know one another better. As a result of this relationship building, many of the early career professionals working for us today began their careers as Textron interns and co-op participants.
How an internship works
Each of our businesses and the corporate headquarters design internship programs to support their specific business needs. Our internship programs are administered locally—at each business and in countries around the world—and serve as ‘feeders’ for the Leadership Development Program.
How a co-op works
In addition to internships, a number of our businesses also offer co-op opportunities. A co-op is a program we view as an extended work experience tied directly through academic course credit to a formal program at your school. Since co-op programs differ by school, each Textron business follows guidelines set by the school.
