Achiever Awards

Across the enterprise, our Textron employees have been working hard to achieve the goals of creating safe workplaces, healthy employees, resilient facilities, and a sustainable footprint. These are all part of Textron’s Achieve 2025 initiative, a 5-year plan to increase overall health and well-being for our employees and the environment.

Each quarter, our businesses recognize an employee or team that has gone above and beyond in helping achieve one of these four goals. Here are the recipients of our Achiever Awards for this past quarter:

Safe Workplaces

Daniel Cuesta, EHS Specialist at Textron Systems: Daniel is being recognized for his work in improving safety programs of three different business units across Systems. His work included developing employee training, compliance, policies, incident investigations, and safety walks. By working with senior leaders, he ensures the “One Team” concept for safety is being met.

Healthy Employees

Karen Flores, Francisco Mendieta, Aaron Romero, David Martinez, and Adria Pibernat, Operations and EHS at Kautex (Spain): This team led a number of events to promote healthy employees and employee engagement, including creating a bicycle route and trekking route, bringing in a speaker on mental health, holding a fitness class, a nutrition facts presentation, having an in-company physiotherapist service, creating a new employee break area, holding a paddle tournament, various other team building events, and holding a donation for Ukraine and the local community.

Sustainable Footprint

Nicholas Low, EHS & Facilities Manager at Bell (Singapore): Nick is being recognized for contributing to Textron’s sustainability objective by supporting the incorporation of solar energy systems into the Bell Singapore Supply Center, which will cover the entire roof. The roof will be operational by early this year due to his efforts.

Resilient Facilities

Chad Eck, Facilities Manager at Textron Aviation: Chad has been a key part of coordinating and communicating with FM Global on discussing ways of improving facilities across Textron Aviation’s locations.
