JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Service Manger (TSM) serves as main point of contact regarding all maintenance work performed on the aircraft and assists the maintenance manager with smooth and efficient hangar operations. Provides the Customer Service Manager (CSM) pertinent information to relay to the customer. Works with the Service Center Team to maintain and develop a positive relationship with current and future Customers. Supervisor responsible for a team of technicians within the service center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Fosters a positive relationship between the customer and the Textron Aviation service network.
2. Implements lean manufacturing processes with a focus on 5s and practices as well as coordinates all Area Team Development events for area of responsibility.
3. Ensures that work performed is done in accordance with established policy, procedure, and quality standards.
4. Responsible for safety, quality, meeting schedules and efficiency of the Service Center
   1. Monitors the work environment to assure it is maintained in a safe and orderly condition.
   2. Identifies and corrects unsafe acts.
   3. Investigates any accidents or incidents, reports findings, complete with recommended corrective action.
   4. Monitor and review overall shop performance metrics (LUE, Billing Efficiency, Productivity and schedule adherence) in conjunction with Maintenance manager to identify trends and implement corrective actions
   5. Monitors and reviews applicable Near miss, Quality (Risk reports and layered Audits), and MVSS responses data to determine trends and in conjunction with EHS and Quality, implement corrective actions
5. Supervises and assigns team members to maintenance in line with schedules and priorities through collaboration with CSMs. Realigns assignments as required to meet customer, maximize efficiency, or by direction of the Service Manager.
6. Daily interaction with team members regarding workmanship, efficiencies and safe working conditions as well as identifying ergonomic opportunities.
   1. Provide coaching and counseling in order to manage performance of team members.
   2. Conduct and document performance evaluations
   3. Track, document, and conduct disciplinary actions required under the procedures and policies of Textron Aviation.
7. Holds weekly team meetings to communicate items such as general communication and resolving programs.
8. Post-delivery follow-up with CSM:  
   1. Assures that open issues involving parts or return maintenance are resolved.
   2. Addresses Maintenance Visit Performance Evaluation issues with the Service Center personnel.
9. Perform duties of a CSM as designated on the off-shift.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for new product development activities with the focus on component development for sensor cleaning systems
• This includes also customer project activities with the focus on component integration and system design
• Technical concept development in order to provide differentiation and IP protected solutions to our customers 
• Product responsibility for all design, functionality and quality related topics including prototypes
• Ensure establishment of specifications for functional and technical requirements on the basis of customer needs and market observation
• Execute prototype related testing and lead  interaction with central lab validation team for Design Verification Plan (DVP)  
• Identify and work with external partners, suppliers and Institutes
• Evaluation of new technologies and suppliers
• Support EHS activities within the department to ensure both a safe work place and adoption of safe working practices

Educational and Experience Requirements:

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will support Trade Compliance Management by ensuring export and/or import compliance with U.S. Department of Commerce, State, Customs and other government agencies (OGA) regulations. 

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General understanding and wide application of applicable U.S. Trade compliance regulations, policies, and concepts.  General knowledge of other related government agency regulations.
• Ability to understand, implement, and coach applicable U.S. Government concepts and regulations as well as related Textron Aviation regulatory compliance policies. 
• Properly classify parts, tooling, software, and technology using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S. (HTSUS), the Schedule B, the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Research engineering drawings, specifications, and other data to analyze part function and material(s) of construction as well as identify design origin, reasons for Engineering Changes, serial effectivity, and suitability for commercial end-use.
• Coordinating and developing compliance solutions with other departments.
• Recommending and implementing changes to company compliance processes and data elements.
• Determining and maintaining import/export classifications, tariff classifications, U.S. Customs entry, and licensing information and requirements used by the Company.
• Oversees and monitors all import and/or export compliance procedures relative to assigned job functional area. (I.e. activities of assigned area(s) typically at a program level, to ensure compliance).
• Will be required to assist all functional areas of the company on issues concerning regulatory compliance, as necessary.
• Participates in compliance reviews, projects and training efforts; act on behalf of management, as required.
• Some travel may be required.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, information systems, business, or related field and Minimum of 2 years of relative experience and knowledge of U.S. Trade and other government agencies regulations required (e.g., EAR, ITAR, HTSUS, Schedule B, FDA, EPA, FCC).

• In lieu of degree a minimum 7 years of direct regulatory or relative industry experience, with a minimum of 2 years of relative experience and knowledge of U.S. Trade and other government agencies regulations required (e.g., EAR, ITAR, HTSUS, Schedule B, FDA, EPA, FCC).

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide on-site flight support for owners under the ProOwnership management agreement. Crews will reside within a reasonable distance from the managed aircraft and perform day-to-day flight activities, including scheduling, trip planning, and aircraft care.  Crews will work directly with the Manager, ProOwnership Maintenance to ensure maintenance compliance and airworthiness.  They will also work closely with the Manager, ProOwnership Operations to ensure customer requests are fulfilled to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction with the ownership experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enhances ownership experience by providing product expertise on Citation and King Air systems, avionics and flying characteristics. Consistently communicates product and ownership benefits during flight activities.
• Acts as a company liaison between the owner and Textron Aviation to ensure that the concerns of all parties are fairly represented.  Although crew is employed by Textron Aviation, the pilot will operate under an agency agreement that clearly defines operational control of the Owner.  The designated lead pilot will serve as the primary point of contact for all issues relating to the remotely based flight operation.
• Clearly and effectively communicates with the owner regarding Pilot-In-Command responsibilities, standards of safe operations, and efficient methods of aircraft utilization.
• Possesses a solution-driven mindset and willingness to explore all avenues on the path to resolution.
• Performs preflight and post flight inspections to evaluate aircraft flown for mechanical and cosmetic discrepancies and accurately communicates with the Maintenance Manager and the applicable Service Center to maintain the highest possible standards of quality and safety.
• Works with the maintenance manager to ensure that aircraft flown are scheduled for required inspections. Ensures that the aircraft are certified to MNPS/RVSM/RNP Standards to meet all travel requirements, both domestic and international.
• Works with the account manager to understand and provide input to the aircraft flight schedule while continuously monitoring flight activities to ensure flights are conducted within the guidelines set forth in the operations manual such as crew duty limits and rest requirements, runway lengths and weather minimums. Will warrant that safety of operations is paramount with each flight.
• Maintains familiarity with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations.  Complies with all regulations and local operating procedures.
• Ensures training and flight currency for all phases of operations. Informs the Chief Pilot or Manager, Aircraft Management when any currency is approaching expiration.
• Attends training as required.  Training will include: Initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures training, crew coordination training, international procedures training and other training as deemed necessary by management.
• Performs vital day-to-day department management duties such as maintaining aircraft flight logs, updating aircraft navigation equipment, obtaining current electronic and hard-copy documents required for flight, and performing store room duties and light aircraft cleaning. 
• Responsible for coordinating vacation requests with the account manager assigned to the owner.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

·        Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Management or Aerospace related fields. 

·        In lieu of degree, must meet the qualifications below and a minimum of 3 years industry experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Ability to obtain a valid US passport
• FAA First Class medical
• Airline Transport Pilot certification and demonstrated piloting skills higher than the minimums stated from the appropriate Practical Test Standards. 
• FAA Flight Instructor Certification preferred.
• 4,000 Total Logged Flying Hours
• 2,000 Hours in Multi-engine aircraft
• 1000 Hours in Turbo Prop, Turbo Fan or Turbo Jet Aircraft
• 500 Hours in Turbo Fan or Turbo Jet Aircraft
• Ability to operate CE-525 aircraft safely and efficiency as single pilot.
• International operating experience preferred

JOB SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Manager (CSM) serves as main point of contact with the Customers of the New York Service Center.  Works with the Service Center Team and Technical Service Manager (TSM) to maintain and develop a positive relationship with current and future Customers.  Responds to Customer inquiries and is responsible for assuring Customer satisfaction by coordinating with the Service Center Team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and communicate all aircraft issues with the customer.
• Meets customer upon arrival, reviews work scope with Customer and add squawks as required during arrival debrief.
• Review warranty programs. 
• Discuss applicable service bulletins, quotes, and flat rates as required by the Customer. 
• Adjust schedule as needed
• Discuss credit terms and collect prepay or deposits, if applicable.
• Define communications and discrepancy approval process with the Customer throughout visit.
• Confirm Customer’s schedule and verifies Customer information in database.  
• Provide schedule estimate update to the Customer.
• Communicates initial service order and work scope to Lead after Customer debrief.
• Obtain Customer approval for any additional work to be performed on the aircraft and communicates changes to TSM.
• Reports exceptions in work progress affecting schedule commitments and cost of maintenance to the TSM
• Actively seeks upselling opportunities in the areas of maintenance, parts, warranty and other associated programs that provide value to the customer.
• Markets Service Center capabilities to new and existing customers.  Fosters a positive relationship between the customer and the Textron Aviation service network
• In conjunction with Finance, reviews program coverage and pricing.  Build, review and approve or change Pro Forma invoice

  ·     Responsible for participating in the Service Center safety culture.

  ·     Upon departure debrief, meet with Customer to:

• Review terms, work accomplished, list of open discrepancies and return aircraft logbook.
• Delivers pro forma invoice and collect payment, as applicable.  

  ·     Post-delivery follow-up with Customer:  

o   Assures that open issues involving parts, return maintenance, or billing issues are resolved.

o   Addresses Maintenance Visit Performance Evaluation issues with the Technical Service Manager.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: 

·        Bachelor’s degree preferred or in lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience and/or relative customer service experience required.

·        A&P License/Repairman/ EASA Certificate is preferred

·        Relative aircraft maintenance and/or customer service experience is preferred

JOB SUMMARY:

To perform and maintain proper inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the New York Service Center in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer's recommendations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures proper procedures are performed on all completed work and physically inspects aircraft, components, reviews related documentation to ensure workmanship meets acceptable Textron Aviation Quality standards, and applicable Federal regulations for final return to service and airworthiness determination.
• Performs the following as delegated by the Supervisor or Lead Inspector:
• Maintains a current file of FAA specifications, certificate data sheets and airworthiness directives.
• Makes periodic checks on all tooling, including calibration of precision test equipment as outlined in the Overhaul Manuals and the FAA Repair Station Manuals. Ensures no defective or unairworthy parts are installed on any product released by the Service Center.
• Inspects and accepts all incoming material, i.e. new parts, supplies, and repaired parts from contract service per the quality and repair station manuals.
• Ensures proper tagging and identification of all parts during the maintenance process.
• Evaluates inspection records, reports, forms, and procedures for compliance to Quality standards.
• Uses Textron and Vendor Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Manual, Structural Repair Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, EEDS/DDS, and other approved technical publications.
• Develops familiarity with Required Inspection Item (RII) requirements, part 135 requirements and understands the requirements and use of the Master Equipment List (MEL).
• Performs periodic aircraft walkaround surveys for tracking of proper usage of all forms as well as the surrounding area to be free of any known hazards.
• Understand and organize the required aircraft inspections and maintaining of files with completed work orders and inspection forms in an efficient system for easy review by supervisor or Lead Inspector.

EDUCATION:

• High School education or equivalent is required
• Requires use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles and mechanical systems.
• A&P License required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Requires minimum of 3 years diversified A&P mechanic experience on jet and turboprop 100 hour and annual service experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.

Incumbent will be responsible to accomplish task through direct supervision. Incumbent is expected to accomplish technical tasks in an individual capacity.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

v Will be responsible for development, design, testing and certification documentation for new or modified Printed Circuit Board modules. 

v Will be responsible for Printed Circuit Board development including hardware design and PCB layout, software design and integration.

v Will be responsible for verification and validation activities of DO-254/DO-178 based designs including testing, analysis and documentation.

v Applies electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to functionally test and troubleshoot avionics/electrical Printed Circuit Boards or systems.   

v Prepares engineering certification reports to document system designs meet the requirements of Federal Aviation Administration CFR Part 23/25 and/or other foreign Civil Aviation Authorities.

v Validates Electronic Circuit Design concepts using SPICE software and performs analyses requiring frequent application of engineering principles.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

Configuration Management Specialists- Aircraft PLM 

There are multiple openings for Bell in Configuration Management supporting Engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for various aircraft programs. 

In this role you will be reviewing and uploading aircraft engineering designs and related modifications.  You will manage engineering data correction, consolidation, or system migration to support Bell's Aircraft.  

This position communicates these processes, variations, and deviations to the program, and coordinates, submits and maintains Engineering technical data and relevant processes

What you will be doing as a Configuration Management Specialist- PLM:

·            Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Deliverable (DID) requirements.

·            Execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data maintained in the ENOVIA environment.

·            Determine and apply the proper data marking to deliverable information and ensure adherence to contract scope and export regulations.

·            Monitor the stability and health of the Engineering Bill-of-Material and Planning Bill-of-Material for the assigned program and provide feedback to data owners regarding data issues.

·            Execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data maintained in the ENOVIA environment.

·            Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal Bell and external customers (USG, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers).

·            Coordinate with contracts organization and customers regarding new or changing requirements.

The Aftermarket Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for business development & sales initiatives for Bell’s entire aftermarket portfolio within their assigned region. Summary of job description

The Project Control Coordinator, Canadian Government Programs is responsible for the administration of the Canadian Government's CH146 Griffon in-service support contract, which covers the maintenance of the Royal Canadian Air Force's active fleet of CH-146 Griffon helicopters. The incumbent works closely with members of the Canadian Government Programs (CGP) group, as well as with members of the Canadian Government (GoC).

• Prepare, validate and issue monthly customer invoices for assigned contracts.
• Prepare and issue documents required for the administration of assigned contracts, such as Work Authorization (WA), Addtional Work Request (AWR), Request for Authorization (RFA), Intellectual Property (IP) request, U.S. priority ranking request, etc.
• Coordinate requests for donations and sponsorships related to PGC, which means being the main point of contact, submitting authorization requests, preparing cheque requisitions and following up with the various recipients.
• Issue deliverables to designated clients.
• Support audits (internal and external) related to assigned contracts.
• Support verification of the structure of work documents and departmental work instructions for assigned contracts.

Associate Chemist

Job Summary:
Conduct chemical analysis using state of the art laboratory tools. Provide technical support for all wet chemistry processes at Lycoming including electroplating, cleaning, stripping, and supplemental treatments.  Perform spectrometric chemical analysis on purchased parts, experimental parts, field returns, and unknown materials. Work cross functionally with Engineering, Quality, Product Support, Manufacturing and Procurement to provide chemistry guidance and recommend improvements.  Evaluate alternative or additional analytical equipment and methods.

Responsibilities to Include:

·        Monitor electroplating, stripping, and cleaning solutions by performing weekly and monthly analyses to maintain proper chemistry.

·        Troubleshoot chemical process issues for production.

·        Compile data and maintain records for chemistry sampling and analysis methods.

·        Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis of polymers, fuels, oils and other substances.  Maintain a custom library of spectra for use in identifying unknown materials.

·        Develop expertise with Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) for analyzing metallic parts.  Develop Type Standardizations for commonly used alloys.

·        Develop expertise with portable Laser Induced Breakdown Spectrometer (LIBS), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometer (EDS), for analysis of a wide range of materials and substances.

·        Perform salt-spray corrosion testing on metallic samples and alternative coatings.

About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

·       Perform and assist in Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) as required per the 32 CFR Part 117 and additional guidance.

·       Become knowledgeable on personnel security administration, including the submission of personnel security clearance investigations and obtaining fingerprints

·       Learn and provide support in physical security, including access control, visitor control and more.

·       Assist in the management and destructions of classified material

In this position, you will be a key legal partner to our Lycoming Engines business, with responsibilities covering litigation on a wide range of matters.  This role is designed for the mid-level litigation attorney looking to transition from law firm life to a more independent role as an in-house litigator and seeking a broader range of legal and business experience.

As part of the Textron Systems Legal Team, you will be part of a dedicated and diverse team of in-house attorneys and professionals. You will work closely with business operations to mitigate risk and anticipate and favorably resolve claims and litigation, including complex commercial and contract matters, product liability, and toxic tort matters. In this position, you will manage litigation as assigned, including pre-litigation counseling, risk mitigation, and related administrative work on the company’s behalf, working closely with numerous business leaders and personnel to support the success or business.

As our Assistant General Counsel, you will:

·       Direct and perform in-house litigation management functions, with a focus on aviation product liability defense.  Tasks include assessing claims and defenses, developing case strategy with outside counsel; directing and managing discovery (including eDiscovery and Litigation Hold procedures); identifying witnesses and assisting in witness preparation; developing demonstrative evidence; maintaining communications with key stakeholders (including Company business leaders); notifying company insurers to ensure insurance coverage; working with insurance adjusters to ensure appropriate handling of the claims; and working with finance to manage costs and exposure.

·       Critically identify, retain, and manage outside counsel to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service.

·       Proactively engage with business management and counterparts in engineering, marketing, sales, finance, and IT to identify legal risks and issues raised in pre-litigation disputes or other claim-related matters and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

·       Supervise Textron Systems aviation product liability program, including working with an established group of dedicated law firms.

Commercial Account Representatives ensure the accurate completion of order entry by handling the receipt of customer orders submitted by external Bell customers via telephone, email, or self-service ordering in MyBell. They will be stewards of the AOG desk and Customer Care Center answering and triaging certain customer facing options from the 1-800-FLY-BELL phone line, triage administrative issues to resolution and assigns others to be worked by the responsible function via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) cases. 

To this end, the Commercial Account Representative shall perform the following duties with respect to commercial customer's orders, AOG Desk and the Customer Care Center.

1. Administer the receipt of external commercial customer orders that are submitted by Bell customers.
2. In SharePoint (or other equivalent system), enter data such as price requests, and shipping errors/complaints necessary to process, track, and accelerate inquires to maintain records as required. 
3. Use ERP to update and maintain the order entry system.
4. Receive external Commercial Spares Orders and upgrade designated orders to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) or accelerated status. 
5. Answer and triage customer requests that meet AOG criteria, tracking part / solution until an aircraft is deemed airworthy by customer or Bell representative via the CRM system. 
6. Facilitate tool and part leases by receiving invoicing and completing related bill duties upon tool return and by processing exchanges and new part returns. 
7. Quote, arrange and manage Customer Property Returns (CPR) for internal requests and work / upgrade.

 Summary of Work Performed:

The Commercial Account Representative ensures the customer is supported by managing issues such as urgent AOG issues, customer orders, and answering and triaging customer questions / inquiries via 1-800-FLY-BELL and providing a solution or routing them to the appropriate function via CRM assignment.

            Managing AOG Issues:

·         Determine if the customer request meets AOG criteria.

·         Track / Monitor all AOG issues (Spares, PSE, CAP/Warranty) within CRM

·         Ensure solution is provided to customer within 24 hours and aircraft is able to Return to Service within 48 hours.

Managing Customer Orders:

• Proactively manage commercial customer accounts through supporting systems by running back-order reports and updating customers on the status of the order.
• Verify and manage customer accounts who meet required specifications for a MyBell Parts Marketplace account in the CRM and MyBell.
• Validate customer requirements to ensure commercial orders are captured correctly and submit Master Data Requests (both customer account related and part related as required for the sale of commercial spare parts.
• Confirm order requirements with the customer and the receipt of firm external orders to create commercial spares orders.
• Create and release commercial customer orders (to include Technical Publication and Structural Repair Sales Orders) in SAP to process commercial sales orders and confirm product inventory levels by part number in SAP to determine product availability in response to commercial customer request.
• Process part returns from other supply centers and customers in CRM by gathering information directly from the customer.
• Create and release spares quotes as assigned.
• Prepare and approve all Return Material Authorizations (MA's) related to the sale of commercial spare parts, including the return of "O time" defective parts, new parts,  overages, shortages, wrong part shipped, and "Buybacks"
• Enter Voice-of-Customer complaints that require action on commercial spare part returns such as "0 time" defective parts, new parts, overages, shortages, wrong part shipped, and "Buybacks"
• Coordinate the completion of rental agreements between customers seeking rentals from Bell.
• Assist in the resolution of payment issues between the customer and Bell Accounts Receivable (AR). Essentially, aid in resolving delinquencies for orders from routine to large multi-year orders.
• Generate debit and credit requests for taxes, freight, overages, short shipments, discount reconciliation, and pricing reconciliation.
• Monitor error block reports and clear the blocks (within Bell rules) as required to allow shipment.
• If required, enter customer orders received by the Technical Publications Distribution Center into the supporting system to process Debit Memo Request and payment assurance for Technical Publications.
• If required, process modifications to orders including change in quantity, price, discount, or rolling to next dash number.
• When directed or required by Management participate in collaborative sessions with Management and other employees to assist and contribute to the development of new processes and existing process improvements.
• Answering and Triaging customer questions / inquiries via 1-800-FLY-BELL:
• Monitor the Customer Care (Bell) and Spares email inbox via the CRM system and forwarding any issues to the appropriate party.

Answer incoming phone calls from the 1-800-FLY-BELL phone line and perform the following:

      Option 0:  Triaging customer questions / issues and providing a solution or by routing them to the appropriate function or person who can solve their problem or answer their question via creation of a case in the CRM system.

·   

      Option 1:  Determine if the customer request (GLOBAL Spares, PSE, CAP / Warranty) meets AOG criteria and if so, track / monitor AOG in the CRM and triage to resolution within 24 hours.

Option 2:  Process and record commercial customer inquiries by receiving customer requests, providing acknowledgement to the customer, determining, and creating customer request for service or inquiry, locating, and updating existing documentation and creating spares quotes generated by direct emails or by customers calling the Call Center or 1-800-FLY-BELL Option 2 during normal business hours.

Option 5:  Aircraft Sales.  Fill out “Aircrafts Sales Information” Request in the CRM system, assign using active assignment rule.

Option 6:  Technical Publications.  Answer this option outside normal business hours for the function, enter a case into the CRM system, and assigning it to the Technical Publication group for work.

Option 7:  Bell Training Academy.  Answer this option outside normal business hours for the function, enter a case into the CRM system, and assigning it to the Bell Training academy group for work.

Experience & Qualifications:

·         Four years of college

o   or equivalent in aircraft technical courses leading to A&P license, plus three and one-half (3 1/2) years’ experience in similar work as described above.

o   or three and one-half (3 1/2) years’ experience in manufacture liaison work; aircraft inventory control functions of a higher nature equivalent to those described above, aircraft mechanical experience in field service work wherein a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft parts and application of same has been gained or two years of experience in a similar role.

·         Three years of customer support experience required.

·         Must be comfortable and communicate effectively in a customer facing role.

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

·         Experience with customer Salesforce software preferred.

Work Performed:

Provides programming for numerically controlled production, tooling programs and Manufacturing Development Projects, utilizing engineering lines and data planning information. Responsible for creating either graphically or mathematically, any additional lines and surfaces that are required in the development of parts, tools, tooling fixtures, assembly fixtures and all mockups making certain that all design characteristics and aerodynamic features are included in the shape according to the master engineering lines; using engineering drawings is engaged in the making of he required layouts and templates for a particular project or a detail of a major project; all work must be performed within predetermined tolerances; contacts the appropriate engineering personnel and discusses with them required changes whenever it is found that a particular design does not meet tooling or manufacturing requirements or standards; maintains follow-up on the tools, assists the Fabrication and Assembly departments in their use; must have a knowledge of Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures. Facilitates the fabrication of the project; must use mathematical formulas for computing flange setback and springback development, form and die setups, bend allowance and apply scale factors when required.

1.)    Maintains complete documentation of programs to ensure effective process control.

2.)    May create tooling/material sketches, numerically controlled setup sheets, dimensional charts, material sketches, and machine operation diagrams. Determines from Engineering information, the most efficient and expedient method of lofting by numerical control methods and fabricating by numerical control tooling and sheet metal standards and related tools where dimensional sequencing of operations is required on numerical controlled sheet metal type fabrication equipment for the most difficult assignments.

3.)    Capable of scheduling several assignments and possesses the skills required to submit reliable cost/hour estimated: capable of directing other individuals work flow with respect to specific programs.

About This Role

The Account Rep reports directly to the Payroll Accounting Supervisor and will perform assigned payroll duties for multiple operating units. They will ensure compliance with company policies and all regulatory requirements.

Tooling Engineer - FLRAA Build Team

The Tooling Engineer is responsible for leading the development, fabrication, and lifecycle management of Special Tooling (jigs, dies, fixtures, molds, patterns, gauges, etc..) to support the FLRAA Program. Guiding the successful completion of major projects in support of strategic priorities and complex technical objectives, the Tooling Engineer, applies advanced manufacturing technical principles, theories, and concepts to the development of innovative manufacturing technology on existing or advanced designs, concepts, processes, systems, and tools.

What you’ll be doing as a Tooling Engineer – FLRAA Build Team

•          Oversee/direct design and fabrication of Special Tooling (ST) for use at a Bell Facility to manufacture components, component assemblies, or aircraft assembly.      
•          Tooling management for Special Tooling (ST) related to subcontracted components and component assemblies.
•          Generate system demand enabling tool purchase, write the statements of work defining requirements for tooling, and coordinate between tool supplier(s) and Bell.

Job Summary: 

Provide information systems security support from a managerial and technical standpoint for DoD and Non-DoD classified systems and networks. Standing up and maintaining accreditations for classified systems. Experience with eMASS, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM, DISA STIGs. Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls. Assemble and maintain security plan accreditation packages per Risk Management Framework (RMF). System Administration skills required.

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, 
snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron 
Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf

Responsibilities:
• Establish and coordinate production schedules in a factory environment to ensure the most efficient flow of 
materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments.
• Prioritize and plan production activities to maintain on-time delivery, monitor execution of production orders, and 
adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Work cross functionally as part of the Production Control team to address equipment downtime, material shortages,
and other factory problems.
• Enhance the usage of company’s SAP system for accurate scheduling and to drive improvements in assembly 
(minimize downtime, reduce inefficiencies, reduce excess inventory)
• Develop, maintain, and analyze production control reports to drive improvements in production.
• Coordinate processes for parts that have different procurement needs.
• Monitor supply base performance as related to delivery and quality, and work with the supply base to resolve issues. 
• Manage inventory levels to avoid excessive inventory, inventory shortages, and inventory inaccuracies within defined 
guidelines. 
• Analyze actual and potential supply problems or delivery issues and provide timely communications and analysis to 
management.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required

About This Role

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
Develop and manage the execution of the production schedule as a result of line of balance output, taking into consideration the available capacity, material availability and program delivery commitments. Communicates to business product support managers and program managers the manufacturing status, expected completion dates and production cost /schedule risk analysis.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with procurement, production manager, engineering, and program management, and other supply chain disciplines to proactively plan, schedule, and effectively manage development, production, and aftermarket support environments
2. Manages and has ownership of execution of items associated with their planner code, to include:
   a. Release of internal jobs to the factory
   b. Release of purchase requisitions
   c. Manage disruptions in the internal factory (shortages, MRB, internal and external constraints)
   d. Provides feedback to internal customers
   e. Ownership of end item deliverables to satisfy customer demands
3. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
4. Monitors internal and external supply chain alignment – identifies and resolves potential constraints, maintains line of balance (build through) and purchase requests for the production or purchase of components / parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
5. Plays an integral part of product Integrated Product Teams (IPT) by effectively interfacing with internal customers on a daily basis, schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
6. Assists management in the development and execution of action/ workaround plans for assigned products/value streams to maximize scheduled on-time completion. Analyzes supply and demand data and reports to determine critical path constraints. Performs product lead time analysis.
7. Manages manual demand for top/down & bottom-up releases, facilitates ECN/ECP changes and coordinates production cut-ins. Reviews excess material for possible consumption in other jobs. Creates material transfers, borrow/payback transactions and PO change requests.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Detailed understanding of supply chain principles.
2. Thorough understanding of the following: various production planning and inventory techniques and practices, capacity planning, various forecasting techniques and their application.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE / PROFICIENCY:

• Required: Word, Excel, Outlook, Prior MRP software experience
• Preferred: PowerPoint, MS Projects, EMatrix, Oracle ERP Software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree and 6 or more years of moderately professionally related experience preferred.
• 1-3 years MRP experience & CPIM certification preferred

JOB SUMMARY:

The Flight Dynamics Software Engineer is a highly motivated and self-driven team player that can perform in a dynamic prototyping environment. This role is responsible for design, development, integration, test, and documentation for software in flight simulator dynamic models on a wide range of aviation platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and document flight simulator software for flight dynamics models
• Create, maintain, conduct flight test data collection plans
• Develop Qualification Test Guide tests and documentation to validate flight dynamics models
• Participate in customer acceptance and regulatory qualification of flight simulator training devices
• Stay current with flight simulation industry regulations (FAA, EASA, ICAO)
• Work closely with engineers of varying disciplines and aircraft subject matter experts to meet or exceed flight simulator training device requirements
• Recommend, incorporate, and/or alter new and existing simulator designs and documentation
• Participate in engineering design reviews
• Perform hardware/software integration & testing on flight simulator training devices
• Provide engineering staff with recommendations for software/hardware enhancements
• Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of exp with developing/integrating flight dynamic models and creating Qualification Test Guides (QTGs) in the flight simulation industry required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding of longitudinal and lateral-directional flight dynamics including aircraft performance, six degree of freedom forces/moments, stability/control derivatives
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, specifically propulsion, flight controls, and ground reaction forces
• Experience integrating/testing aircraft OEM aerodynamic models preferred
• Fixed-wing flight dynamics and flight simulation industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with C/C++, Python, Linux/Unix, and Shell scripting is a plus
• General piloting knowledge is a plus
• Flight testing experience is a plus
• Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills
