    Primary Responsibilities:

    The basic requirements for a Security Staff employee are to provide protection for company property against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry. The security officer is responsible for maintaining continuous surveillance of company property and perimeter fences, performing in-plant patrols with regard to employee safety and asset protection.     PRIMARY PURPOSE:       

    Under the direction of the Litigation Manager and Lycoming Counsel, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collegial office environment on a variety of legal activities in support of the world’s premier general aviation engine manufacturer.  These activities include assisting attorneys and staff in managing import and export compliance for international procurement and sales, supporting contract life-cycle activities, maintaining electronic records system, and assisting in areas of litigation, employment, internal investigation, ethics and compliance, and other legal tasks that arise in the day-to-day operation of the business. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    JOB DUTIES:

    The Systems Engineer works as an integral part of the Lycoming team to design, select, integrate, and validate appropriate electrical, mechanical components for use on the engine control system.  Responsible for developing electrical and mechanical requirements ranging from high level system requirements to architecture level requirements that meet the intent of overall engine system. The engineer will be working with suppliers to select components that meet the component level requirements of the engine system and following standard systems engineering principle to integrate it on the overall system.
