    PRIMARY PURPOSE:

    Professional accounting position responsible for various aspects of the general accounting function, including: implementation of the internal control plan, tax reporting, government reporting, and records retention. The goal is to gain experience and make improvements to processes associated with the general ledger, external reporting, and internal controls in support of a manufacturing environment.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    ·         Assist in the maintenance of the Oracle general ledger software, including duties associated with month end close.

    ·         Complete monthly, quarterly and annual tax/government reporting requirements, including tax forecasts and the annual tax package due to the Corporation.

    ·         Prepare and record company financial transactions along with supplemental schedules as required.

    ·         Ensure financial records are in compliance with internal process documentation, generally accepted accounting principles, corporate accounting policies/control standards.

    ·         Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations applying appropriate analytical techniques

    ·         Interface with management and company personnel, as required, regarding the status of accounting transactions and corrective actions required.

    ·         Assist with preparation of capital plans & respective depreciation schedules.

          ·         Assist with various finance & accounting related needs including but not limited to costing & pricing activities, workflow support, cycle count audits, supplier audits, payroll support, financial ad hoc requests, etc...

    Job Summary:
    The Reliability Coordinator is responsible for maintenance and repair processes, continuous 
    improvement, workflow planning and scheduling with focus on machine reliability and uptime, shutdown and outage planning, PM creation, maintenance, and upkeep of the PM database, and management of critical spare parts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Update and maintain maintenance workflow planning and scheduling utilizing existing CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
    • Identify TPM and PM requirements, procedures, and processes for equipment.
    • Utilize the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) to plan and track efficiencies across all equipment systems, such as equipment uptime, KPI management, and other work order system metrics.
    • Assist in the development of safe work practices for all maintenance trades.
    • Assist trades in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise, using external sources as needed.
    • Assist in planning phase of new equipment specifications and existing equipment improvements.
    • Plan and track critical spare parts and materials inventory.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper communications of maintenance workflow activities.
    • Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives to facilitate project implementations.
    • Interact with vendor and contractors as needed to assure equipment uptime and reliability.
    • Coordination of internal and external resources on installation and maintenance of equipment systems.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    The basic requirements for a Security Staff employee are to provide protection for company property against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry. The security officer is responsible for maintaining continuous surveillance of company property and perimeter fences, performing in-plant patrols with regard to employee safety and asset protection. Perform weekly compliance inspections, including loss prevention equipment and fire suppression systems.  In addition to these duties a security staff employee is expected to utilize SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), follow standard work, and optimize security processes to protect the employees and business from potential threats. Exceptional customer service, communication, teambuilding and leadership skills are required. 

    The security department is part of the Environmental, Health & Safety Dept. and security personnel are required to respond to emergencies and ensure a safe work environment. The position requires good, sound judgment to analyze facts in changing situations with regard to administering the Lycoming Security Policy and access control requirements.  Strong ethical standards and integrity are a must.
