    PRIMARY PURPOSE:

    Identify new sales opportunities and increase sales by routinely interfacing with distribution partners and promoting Lycoming products to flight training organizations, retail service providers and end users.

     

    DUTIES:

    Manage commercial relationships between regional distributors and Lycoming Engines. Partner with assigned distributors to help facilitate sales relations and capture new business. Regional Sales Manager are responsible for commercial relationships with product distributors and therefore interfaces with Lycoming’s Customer Service, Product Support, and Marketing departments on a regular basis to help distribution partners achieve their sales goals.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    - Achieve targeted sales goals for assigned territory.

    - Identify and develop new Lycoming regional business opportunities.

    - Partner with and support regional distributors through sales and product training.

    - Liaison between customers and Lycoming support resources to ensure total customer satisfaction.

    - Travel extensively within respective region and strategically arrange meetings and sessions with distributors, fleet customers, FBO’s, field overhaul shops, etc., to develop market growth strategies.

Assures technical work is done according to defined processes and assures that work products conform to established standards.     The Design Engineer works as an integral part of the Lycoming team to design, select, integrate and validate new component and subsystem solutions for aircraft piston engines.
